I came here on a date while travelling. I don't speak French at even a conversational level, but the waiter and waitress were extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating in English. The restaurant was quiet and warm, the music was ambient and unobtrusive. In terms of atmosphere and decor, it felt like a very fancy, high-end restaurant, but the prices were moderate and affordable. For an appetizer, we had the Snails and Camembert Gratin. The snails were delicious and tender, the camembert was gooey and cheesy, and the gratin had a nice basil flavour. It came with some crunchy, toasted bread which was delicious on its own. I almost wish there was a bit more bread to soak up the leftover sauce because it was so tasty. My partner had the Mushroom and Black Garlic Cream Pasta. It came with some more of the crunchy toast. The noodles were soft and thick, it had a creamy sauce and a very generous helping of large, meaty mushrooms. I had the Pizza Burger, which was not like I was expecting, but way better than I could have imagined. It had a toasted, cheesy outside and a creamy inside with delicious spinach and thick meaty burger. Piping hot and juicy. Overall, an amazing restaurant and highly recommend. All of the ingredients are locally sourced, too, so it felt like a perfect capstone for our trip to Quebec.

Very friendly staff and a lovely setting. I went here and had pizza, a glass of wine and some Blueberry mousse. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was prepared quickly and the atmosphere was lovely. I felt that the pizza and mousse were very nice, but nothing amazing but apart from that it was a very nice experience.

Fantastic experience. Last minute walk-in. Very accommodating. Food was above and beyond. We had the snails, soup of the day, pizza, Ceasar salad, mushrooms pasta (superb) and the duck confit was perfection, especially the potatoes. Service was great, Thanks Alex-Anne for taking us in during the severe thunderstorms

Travelling from Toronto and found via Google search of wood oven pizza. Photos looked great and reviews were good too. Reality was much different though. Ordered a pizza and lobster salad as appetizers. Took 1 hour to arrive even after we mentioned our hunger and long journey pizza. Pizza was already portioned in plates instead of bring it whole. Pizza should have been portioned in 8 slices but since they already divided in 3, they shorted us 2 pieces. Food was mediocre at best and service extremely slow. We were brought our food and never checked in with at any point except when plates had to be cleared. Place had only 5 other tables occupied on Wednesday night so not sure what the delay was. Ordered pasta dishes as our mains, which were amateur in quality and taste. First meal in Quebec City and so...

Our first meal in Quebec City. Although we are not French speakers, we were greeted warmly by staff. It actually turned out that the lovely woman we spoke with during our dinner, was the owner. The other server was wonderful as well. The Chardonnay I had from Argentina was solid. The IPA on tap, a hazy one, was enjoyed by my husband. Pizza choices were vast. We settled on the vegetarian deluxe and the Diabola. Both with thin crusts. Plenty of toppings on each one. Super yummy. We were not in a rush to have our food, but I suppose if you were, it might seem to take awhile. By no means at all did it affect us. We really enjoyed the relaxed, friendly yet professional atmosphere and the food and beverages as well. Many thanks to the staff and owner . It made our first night in Quebec a...
