Recently my husband and I went to Granvilles for a homemade lunch it was our first time and we were not disappointed! We ate on the front patio section and were able to bring our dog and there was a nice dog dish for him with fresh cool water which was great because it was such a hot day outside in the middle of summer!

We ordered 2 Reuben sandwiches, poutine, caramel macchiato, a garden salad, deep fried pickles.

The Reuben sandwiches are awesome! So filling, lots of meat and sauer kraut and we got mustard on the side it was great and made fresh.

The garden salad was huge and the lettuce was green, cold and crisp!

The poutine was also a nice large size for us to share, the gravy was good and the cheese was good both had good portions!

The deep fried pickles were hot and fresh and also really good, and the caramel macchiato was was really good aswell!!!

We will definitely be back we had a great lunch the price was also very decent for the amount of food!!! 🤗☺️ The staff were very polite and accommodating as we came from our of town during Billy Barker Days and the streets were closed off we called before arriving to inquire where to park for access and they helped us out very much also said our dog was allowed to come.on the patio!!! 👍👍🐶

Also beef tallow is being used for all fried foods 😱 this is just such a game changer!!! We try to avoid seed oils as much as possible and for this reason alone it's more then worth it to support this cute coffee shop!!! We noticed a huge difference in how less greasy our fries and deep fried pickles were, it had a more light taste that you could tell was different then other restaurants. Love the use of the beef...

If you're ever in Quesnel and looking for a coffee spot, you HAVE to experience this spot. I'm giving this place a full five stars, even if it feels like you're playing a real-life game of Tetris trying to find a seat!

Seriously, this place is super packed – in the best possible way. It's buzzing with energy, which just tells you how beloved it is by the locals. And walking in is like stepping into a time machine. The very retro atmosphere is just fantastic, full of quirky charm that makes you want to pull out a flip phone and order a dial-up connection with your latte. It's got character in spades.

Despite the organized chaos, the staff are incredibly friendly. They navigate the bustling scene like pros, always with a smile, and make you feel genuinely welcome. You never feel rushed, even when there's a small queue forming behind you.

And the food? Oh man, the food. It's all delicious and fresh. Whether you grab a sandwich, a pastry, or whatever else tempts you from their display, you can taste the quality. It's comfort food done right, perfectly complementing the coffee.

So, if you're up for a lively, nostalgic, and utterly delicious experience (and maybe a little bit of strategic...

I grew up for the younger part of my life in Quesnel and have never been here was coming through town and kids wanted to check it out thought it would be nice place to check out, the ambiance is great really cool retro style however the service was absolutely horrendous not only was the lady at the till rude and pushy while ordering took 10 minutes to get the brownie we ordered and they messed up the on the one we ordered. They then took ten minutes to tell us that after I ordered the orange float cause they were out of the rootbeer that they were actually out of the orange as well so then I ordered a smoothie. However we have been sitting here for 30 minutes with one person making drinks and 8 other staff walking around pretending to work but chatting more about what's going on in there life then working I do not recommend this especially if you are...

The lines are long and slow moving. Customers stand in line for 5 minutes and then have no clue what they want to order. Skill testing questions are asked like: how do you want your eggs? Do you want coffee? The same people act surprised when they are given their total to pay. Lots of screaming children on the weekends. Great place to loiter, 20 minutes for eggs and toast. Edit: months later its still 20 minutes for eggs, toast and coffee. Ask me how I can tell when the boss is away on holidays. More pics available. This morning was 32 minutes from the time I stood in line until my eggs and toast arrived. I returned it to the sever and explained I don't have time to eat it. I was offered a refund, and she explained they are busy in the back. Looked like they are also busy up front.

This was THE BEST Eggs Benny I’ve EVER HAD!!! The bun had a delicious crisp while still tasting fresh and buttery, the eggs were cooked to the perfection, and the sauce was so good it took everything in me not to like my plate clean like a feral animal. The pastries are DIVINE. My personal favorite is the Strawberry Rhubarb Tart, but their brown sugar tarts are also delicious. THE COFFEE: I had a Caramel Macchiato which was amazing but my grandma had the German Mocha. I am not exaggerating when I tell you my soul ascended trying this mocha. I truly wish I could bring this whole cafe to anywhere I lived, but that’s what makes places like this special. The community and the people are so kind as well. Thank you for everything and we will be sure to stop by anytime we are passing through!
