Chopped Leaf — Restaurant in Regina

I ordered the Santa Fe salad for lunch at the Quance St. location. I had only consumed a peanut butter toast that morning (Wed., May 22), and was looking forward to an easy, nutritious meal. A couple of hours after I had consumed the contaminated salad, I had nausea, burning cheeks, throat, and chest, and terrible cramps. I tried to leave the house to do a couple of errands, but had to make a quick u-turn because I was so sick. After a couple of times I had thrown up, my husband phoned Chopped Leaf to tell them about my food poisoning so others would not end up the same way. He spoke to an employee who promised to pass the info to her manager. The misery, pain, and inability to eat or work caused two days of suffering and inconvenience. I would have expected a phone call and apology once the manager was informed, but there was none. This shows a huge lack of responsibility and empathy to customers, which is very disappointing. I will NEVER visit this poorly operated business...

I rarely post a negative review and I will say that I do love the food here first and foremost. My 1-star is due to the horrible service I received today. There were about 8 people in the restaurant when I walked in and three employees making salads and wraps. I walked to the counter to place my order and was not even acknowledged by the staff. I stood there for close to 5 minutes waiting to have my order taken. They didn't even say that they would help me in a few minutes. After about 5 minutes I walked out of the restaurant. Been coming to Quance location for years, used to love them, the last time I was there I got the Mediterranean and asked for mushrooms to be added(which I paid for). Literally got 3 halves of a cherry tomato, 7 slices of mushrooms, maybe 10-12 slivers of onion, and about 7 tiny pieces of cucumber, thought it must have just been a fluke, no, went back tonight same thing, when I asked about it they said that’s all they are allowed to give….
