Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Regina

Not very pleased with their service. My fiance and I had ordered the special for $15.99 off the Pizza Hut website. Our pizza was supposed to be half pepperoni and half steak. We also had chicken bites and cheesy bread. I then ordered a 500Ml of Ginger ale as it is on their site. My fiance had ordered a side of ranch dipping sauce as well. Before the order arrived, they called us to advise that they changed the steak as they did not have it and replaced it with beef. My fiance is so kind and said okay. Also, they had told us that they changed the ginger ale and replaced it with a 7up since they do not serve 500ML of Ginger Ale (only the 2 Litres). My fiance also said okay. When the order arrived, they completely forgot his dipping sauce. He immediately called them and asked about the sauce. They said because they had changed the order a few times (WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION BY THE WAY), that they forgot the sauce. They said they could bring the sauce and take $2.00 off, but we would have to pay a delivery fee or order something else. My fiance once again being so nice said okay and decided to order the cookie desert. I immediately told him that it was not okay that we have to pay for what they forget, and also they changed our order without our consent. My fiance then agreed and told them why do we have to pay when they are at fault. Eventually, the lady was not happy and decided to have our sauce with the cookie desert delivered for free, but it took an argument to do so. We did not trust they would spit in our food, so we did not eat the desert, but we were unpleased with the service as it took an additional 45 minutes to bring us the sauce and changed our order not knowing if we even wanted beef or ginger ale that is on their site. They said the ginger ale is only on the site but is not in every location. I do find this very unprofessional and that their website needs to be updated according to locations so that we only order what they have. Also, the cheesy bread is not cheesy at all. You may as well get the breadsticks. I gave this two stars for the simple fact that even though the toppings were changed, I did like the taste of the pizza and chicken bites but that is all. Ordered the pizza, cheese sticks and boneless bites deal on their website for delivery. Horrible food and horrible service.

I had my phone on the "tracking page" to watch for the driver to arrive since I was in my room. It never updated. The driver phoned me and sounded angry at me because he knocked on the door but I didn't hear it (not even a doorbell ring). I paid with my credit card on the machine and read that the payment had gone through. Driver wanted me to pay again because "no receipt printed so it didn't go through". Told him to check the transactions and he didn't even know how to operate the machine (which is really weird because its a delivery guy and should know the basics of how to use the machine). I refused to pay again and told him I will grab my phone to show him my bank transaction. I heard a "oh my God" from him as I walked inside the house. Even when I showed him my screen that read "Pizza Hut" in pending transactions it felt like he still didn't believe me as I had to read it 3 times until he walked away.

Honestly, I haven't had Pizza Hut in almost 10 years here in Regina because of previous experiences and better choices. I can say I will never have it ever again. The quality of food was really bad. Bland tasting food, thickest dough ever, cheese sticks did not have cheese taste (paid $1 extra for that) and boneless bites tasted like frozen chicken covered in cheap sauce that I can get from Walmart. The toppings portion size is getting lesser each time. It is so much noticeable that you can literally count the grilled chicken pieces and they'll turn out around 6-8 pieces on a large size pizza that has 8 slices that's about one piece per slice if you are lucky. The border width of the homestyle crust pizza is getting bigger too. At some point it use to be less than an inch and now it is over an inch which in turn tells that the overall pizza toppings has now shrunk further. Cheese is perhaps the most critical ingredient of the pizza. At one point cheese use to be nicely following if you take a slice in your hand and now its barely noticeable. Pizzahut pizza prices are one of the expensive ones if you compare with other competitors so one would think that the quality of the products will be also be top however it has only gone down each time I've placed an order and it is because of that the ratio of my orders has gone down compared to how much I use to order....
