Starbucks — Restaurant in Regina

This location has disappointed me the last three times I’ve visited.

First two times they’ve messed up my drink order. I don’t live in the south. So to find out my order is wrong when I get home is disappointing.

The visit today is why I won’t go to this location again.

I went through the drive thru. Asked if they honoured the bogo deal and they said yes. Asked if they would honour it if I bought four drinks. Barista asked me to hold while he asked someone. Came back and said one deal per transaction.

I drove all the way from the north end so I asked if they would honour it for two transactions. They put me on hold to ask. Barista came back and said yes if I did two transactions. So we did two.

I got to the window and it was a different person handling my transaction. They charged me full price for the second order. I asked why I wasn’t able to get the second deal. He said I could only get the deal once. Which is fine but I wouldn’t have done two transactions if I wasn’t going to get the deal.

The barista handling my transaction also didn’t know how to use the app? He kept telling me I couldn’t use my card on my app to pay. Even though it’s how I always pay for my drinks? I even reloaded it using the app.

I did have to pull out of the drive thru for the rest of my order. The girl that brought out the rest of my drinks was very sweet. Made me feel a little less upset.

I used to be a Starbucks barista. If you couldn’t do something you just say so. I wouldn’t lie to my customers just to get their money.

Other locations have honoured double Bogo deal. They also have never messed up my order. So I’ll continue to support...

I went to this location to order a drink . I have a medical mask exemption from my Saskatchewan registered doctor. The Provincial Health Order requires businesses to comply with all clauses of the sask health order. One of those clauses states that medically exempt people are not required to wear a mask in public and when as a patron. This Starbucks location owner does not care about fully complying with the provincial order. But just picking parts of the order that best suits it’s needs. I presented my exemption letter and a copy of the sask health order to the employees of this location and was told that the orders they received from their owner supersceaded the sask health order on masking. The owner of this business does not deserve my money or others money as the owner does not follow the laws of Saskatchewan in relation to this Provincial Heath Order. Do not give your money to this business. There are plenty of other locations and coffee shops in the city...

It was my birthday and I have never gone into the store to get my "free beverage of choice". I've only ever gotten my birthday present from them once before but during the pandemic so have only used the app and drive through. I didn't know what I was supposed to do so I just showed the notification on my app to the barista and they hooked me up without any difficulties (large Americano with 2 splashes of heavy cream).
