Been here a few times, decided today to show up at their 0800 opening to get some baos for my friend's garage sale.

Nothing was displayed yet but the owner who was in their back kitchen and was kind enough to quickly gather up their freshly baked baos/buns.

Yeah. That's right, they actually bake their own baos/buns in the back kitchen. They keeping it real, got my 100% support. Timmies crying in their tear soaked pillow

Got an assortment of char Siu, pineapple buns, ham & cheese, and custard buns.

Their char siu baos have plenty of shredded BBQ pork with a hint of minced onions.

Pineapple buns have a large crunchy crust, can also get them with filled custard.

If you buy 6 or more, no 13% tax charged

They by far have the cheapest bao/bun prices when compared to other places.

Although their baos/buns may not be the best, for the price I have...

Under the old owners the bakery was great. But this place has gone downhill. I placed an order on Jun 12th for a cake with no kiwis and told them I would pick it up before closing at 7:30 on the 15th. When I got there at 7:20 the guy was very adamant (bordering on confrontational) saying that I didn't place the order. When I showed him my cell's call log showing him proof, he just stood there opened mouthed not saying a word. Then another worker walks out with my cake and gave it to someone else! They sold my cake and had no apology nothing. Just opened mouthed breathing and empty-headed staring. It's one thing to say we though you weren't coming (even though I said I would be there before closing) so we sold it. But to bold face lie is insulting and i will never use this...

This is my go to spot for Chinese bakery goods! I have been coming here for over 10 years. They have your typical Hong Kong bakery style foods, and usually have a few Swiss rolls and medium cakes available. They also serve hot milk tea and have two small tables to eat/drink on your own or with a friend, though I have never stayed myself.

My favourite is their egg tart deal (6 for $5.50), and if you buy more than 6 buns, there are no taxes. The gentleman that runs this bakery does most of the baking himself, package your bakery items patiently, will recommend anything you may need and is friendly every time. Highly recommend...

*note* the reason the shelves were empty in the pics was because I came really early while they were cooling down on the cart trays in the kitchen. Great little pastry shop located by Leslie and Hwy 7 area with great selection of buns and other goodies. I've been coming here for many years and I always come right in the morning for the freshest offerings right out the oven. Prices are reasonable compared to other bakeries in the surrounding area.

Bakery goods have amazing deals here. My personal favourite is the pineapple bun which is bread topped with dried egg custard crumbles. Also, all the products seem freshly baked each morning. From entering to purchase only took 3 to 5 minutes tops so service is real quick. Definitely recommend for newcomers on vacation looking for quick breakfast. This also goes well with Goldsor’s milk tea from the plaza across the street.
