East Street Sandwiches — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

Had to try this place based on reviews. Been a long time since I've had an Italian style veal sandwich and this place was spot on.

Owner/staff were friendly and helpful. All toppings (cheese, peppers, onions, etc) are extra so you'll need to craft your sandwich to your preferences.

IMAO the veal to breading ratio was perfect, I've had sandwiches where the breading was excessive or the meat was too thick, sauce was too thin or no flavor, their sauce perfectly complimented the veal. Bread has a nice crust, see photo

They bread the veal before cooking when you order, how fresh is that!

They also have daily pasta specials, Wednesday is Lasagna day, it looked really good, maybe on my next visit.

They're located right of highway 7, you haven't lived until you've eaten an Italian veal...

I must leave the review and hopefully you can recognize your problem. I was doing uber eat delivery 2 days ago, your employee mistakenly gave my client's order to other uber driver, I am fine with it, I tried to be understanding and patiently wait for about 20 more minutes and tried to comfort your employee, but you as owner did not show any respect to the employee, people made mistake, and you as an owner show no respect to the people works for you, I spent 20 minutes waiting for your order and you not politely ask me not blocking your way, I feel totally not comfortable about that but I hold my temper, you as a business owner make a good living but do not have any grateful about what you have, showing bad attitude to your employee and uber driver, that's unacceptable. If you are ordering food from this place through Skip The Dishes, think twice. The first time, I ordered food from them, after 20 minutes my order was automatically cancelled. When I talked to a rep from Skip, I was told the restaurant had taken longer than usual to accept the order and they hadn't picked up the phone. Because I really wanted to try their vegetarian sandwiches, I tried ordering from this place a second time and the same thing happened. Awful costumer service.
