Greek Stop — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

i’ve only ever had jimmy the greek, mr greek, and greek market chicken considering there’s not a lot of greek restaurants in rhill, but greek stop did not disappoint!! their service is quick, the food is fresh (u can see it being cooked on the stove in front of u and the chicken is rly tender and delicious). they have daily specials as well (i paid $13.99 for a chicken souvlaki meal but u can get it on sunday for $12.50!!). my only suggestion for the next time i go is im gonna leave a note asking if my potatoes can be made a bit crispier on the outside bc that’s my personal preference :) the portions are generous considering jimmy the greek is so nitpicky (they literally count the amount of lettuce, onions and tomatoes they give and ur paying much more). if ur in the area and wanna try a greek place, try...

My husband bought the pork souvlaki dinner here yesterday. The food was delicious; it was flavorful, but not overly salty, like some places. Service was quick and very friendly. One very important additional note - My husband realized the next day that his wallet was missing. After trying to desperately find it, we went back to Greek Stop to see if he possibly lost it there. Yes! Luckily, that was where he dropped it. The gentleman there was so happy for my husband. They tried so hard to find my husband. On Thursday, February 27th, I arrived at Greek Stop around 8:30 PM, hoping to grab a meal for my family after a long day. To my complete shock and frustration, I was rudely declined service and told that you were closed! Your website clearly states you close at 9:00 PM, so I find it completely unacceptable that I was turned away with no valid explanation.

This experience was beyond disappointing and honestly, downright infuriating. Not only did I leave empty-handed, but I also wasted my time, and I can't even fathom why a business would turn away paying customers during their actual business hours.
