Fat Bastard Burrito Co. — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

I'm sorry to be writing this and perhaps others have had a different experience since mine last year, but the veggie burrito I ordered was the smallest "humongous" burrito I've ever seen. The lack of quality and variety of toppings was disappointing, and even more so the quantity served. I only ordered plant based toppings so even adding a little extra lettuce or simply one more tomato slice in place of the meats and dairy based sauces would have been appreciated. When I did ask for extra lettuce, I got a tiny bit more to emphasize how lackluster my meal would be. The beans were a paste like they came from a can and the vegetables were not that fresh. I was very disappointed to say the least. Regarding quantity, perhaps the server was inexperienced at the time, or perhaps she was following management's protocol for serving sizes. And I was actually severely underweight due to illness at the time, so my perspective on serving sizes would not have been skewed in the other direction. Either way, I am never stepping foot into another restaurant from this chain again, literally and figuratively, regardless of the location. One ruined lunch during a busy day when I didn't have time to get something else was enough for me. I should have just stayed away when I was off-put by the restaurant name. I don't care for foul language, even jokingly. I don't like being negative either. I just hope management evaluates this feedback and others are not surprised with their veggie burritos from here. I can't speak to the other menu items. I love burritos and much prefer them from Mucho Burrito. A photo comparison would clearly demonstrate my point. I'm sorry I didn't go so far as to take a photo. And now I'm sorry I've wasted time writing this long review. It is what it is. I hope others enjoy the food here...

Ordered a big pull pork burrito last night. Wanted to have noddles in it but they only have it in the fridge. So they have to warm it up on the stove in the back. Didn't seems like it was warming/ loosing up fast enough so the"cook" put some sort of liquid, which at the makes the whole burrito drips the whole meal. Tried to taste a little bit of it, does not taste like any kind of oil, but more like water (btw the liquid was yellow, which I assumed and it's from the noodles). The pull pork itself is also very dry, have very little to no sauce in it. Also the whole burrito wasn't wrapped properly, very loose and it also doesn't feel as big in size and weight compare to other location. As I was eating the burrito it falls apart. Staff was friendly, just not trained enough. They also have a sign at the cashier saying that if a person has more than 5 items in one order, they would have to call 24 hrs ahead of time. All in all, it's a new location, has potential in the region since its the only fat bastard around RH or Markham, but honestly won't be coming back in a short...

Honestly, so glad I live this close to this burrito place 😁 The food is always delicious and the toppings are all so flavorful~
