I came to this location wanting to bring home 3 drinks. When I saw there was a $20.99 combo for 3 deal, i decided to order it.

While I was ordering, the staff told me that the mochi, a topping of one of the drinks in the combo deal, was out of stock. I asked her “so what can I substitute for it instead?”. She gave me a look and said “the combo is already really cheap已经很便宜了” implying that I shouldn’t ask for a substitute for the mochi.

I replied “it’s cheaper because it’s a combo, not because it doesn’t have mochi”

She then REPEATED 2 more times “the combo is already really cheap 套餐已经很便宜了” and gave me looks, to which I gave the same reply. She finally said fine you can add pearls or jelly and I choose pearls.

I came home with the drinks and not surprisingly, there were next to none pearls in the drink.

I also want to comment on that separately these drinks would add up to around $24, the combo was listed to be $20.99. I really wouldn’t classify ~$3 dollar savings on this combo as...

Two friends and I craved bubbletea on a weekend afternoon in September, and I liked Machi Machi at another location. Unfortunately it was bad timing for us, because a new employee was being trained on that specific day. I personally received good service by getting my drink quickly, but my friend was unlucky and didn't receive their drink for a long time while a later customer received their orders before us. We initially assumed it was due to our drink being more complicated to make, but we asked and found out the order was never processed in the system. Been here at least 30 times, but the experience at this location has gone downhill over the past few months. I placed a takeout order 35 minutes in advance, but when I arrived, the receipt hadn’t even been pulled or placed on the table. Meanwhile, Uber Eats was already showing that my order was likely ready.

The store was hot with no AC, the lights were off, it almost looked like the place was closed.
