Visited this Magic Noodle location on Sunday in the afternoon. The most important feature of this restaurant should be the noodles and only the noodles. We are expecting hand pulled noodles to meet minimum expectations which is to have each strand noodle of consistent size. Unfortunately this minimum expectation was not met as some strands are as thick as Shanghai fry noodles while others look like Angel hair pasta... and that alone says it all about a noodle shop. In addition, our wait staff bringing our bowls of noodles to our table would claw the bowl at the top with a finger of lenghty nail, just grazing the top of the soup. It was relatively unappetizing as a start. Lastly, the level of hygiene of a restaurant can be represented by the conditions of the bathrooms. We saw vomit and urine all over the bathroom and only to hear the staff while serving customers to argue who would clean up the bathrooms. What an experience!

If you love just handmade noodles, barely any proteins with the dishes and badly prepared greasy, cold fried chicken this is the place. We, as a family of 4 went for dinner on Saturday evening, the restaurant was busy...but the host; a middle age woman was extremely rude. She yelled at all customers trying to either pick-up take out orders or trying to get a seat. Food didn't all come at once. The fried chicken that came with the Magic noodles sat in a pool of grease and was extremely tough and cold. Overall, there was just bad service at The Magic Noodle Richmond Hill with hostile attitude from server and rude tones from the hostess. Will not go back again. Be warned ~Do Not bother with the fried chicken noodles. Lamb skwers was decent. Lamb soup hand-cutnoodles was good. Stir fried noodles was tasty with very little meat. Triple Beef noodles had not triple but 0.5 amount of beef; but lots of noodles ~

If you’re looking for a quick noodle fix, Magic Noodle might be the spot. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable hand pulled noodle offerings here at this popular uptown joint. The menu even includes all-day breakfast. The most popular dish is the Magic Beef, which really is just typical Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles. We made sure to add free extra noodles. Broth is clean and comes with pickled radish, scallions and tender beef slices albeit small thin pieces. We were more satisfied with the Tomato Beef and Pot Belly noodle soups that were more hearty. Pick the noodle styles from silk string to thick ribbon noodles. They also have knife shaved Daoxiao noodles. It’s a busy location but the noodles come streaming out of the kitchen where you can watch the staff make the noodles and prep the ingredients. Staff also do a good job of keeping the place clean & serving families.

𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳! Update: Who are you trying to fool with that copy-paste response? Both your staff and the head office have clearly shown us how little you care about your customers. I am definitely never going back to this crappy business.

Original comment: The staff decided to start an argument with us over a damn takeout container and refused to give us one big enough for our food as we were trying to pack up the leftovers and leave.

What's even more insulting is that the same person later had the audacity to complain to our face that we didn't leave her a large enough tip. If you're not even going to give us a paper box, why on earth would you expect the customers to leave you a fat tip???

Congratulations, you just lost a customer (who has spent thousands eating at your restaurant from the day you opened till now) over a paper box that costs a few cents. I hope the owners can have a serious conversation with their staff because the way you are running your business is...

I recently visited Magic Noodle and unfortunately had a very negative experience. Our server, Renee, displayed shockingly poor customer service throughout our meal. Renee was consistently rude, loud, and unwelcoming, making us feel uncomfortable from the moment we sat down. Her demeanor came across as angry and dismissive, to the point where it felt as though she genuinely did not want to serve us. What was most concerning was how aggressive and careless Renee was when bringing our food—slamming bowls on the table in a way that felt intentionally hostile. Beyond the service, the food itself was subpar; it arrived cold, overly salty, and lacked the quality one would expect. It almost felt as though the kitchen was instructed to serve it that way. Overall, this experience was deeply disappointing and left us feeling disrespected. I do not recommend this location based on this visit, and I hope management takes these issues seriously to ensure no other customers experience the...
