Sugar Queen Patisserie — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

No respect or regard for customer wishes, no communication, all empty promises! simply they upsell the custom cake but did not deliver at all of what was initially agreed on, missed MAJOR points both visually and flavor wise! They look posh and chic on the surface, but very novice and unprofessional. Poor customer service, when brought up the mistakes, owner shrugged and couldn't care less! very furious experience! if you cant deliver, just say so or close your door to public. They definitely not lost one customer but others in party got aware of our situation. Do yourself a favor and stay away from ordering a custom cake unless you want to get disappointed big time!

Hi Sugar Queen, First off, I only wrote ONE review altogether for your business (This is the person who ordered the cake and met Maryam in person). If you see similar reviews, it could be other people, I have no reason to submit same feedback twice, neither have the time to do so. Secondly, You say you take pride in customer service but there was NO communication what-so-ever beforehand, and then failing to carry on the specific order details visually and flavor wise; specifically for the MAIN component of the cake. If you call this "incredible customer service", then perhaps you have not encountered one yourself. Third, I did not purchase on "multiple" occasions, you must be mistaking me with someone else clearly. At time of ordering the custom cake, I specifically mentioned the flavors of Coffee and pieces of Walnut, which we got neither of them. My intention of ordering from you was to support local businesses, but sorry to say that now I regret my decision. The customer service is unmatched! let me tell you how i purchased a box of cake slices from the too good to go app and i showed up and the place was closed! i called and unfortunately they had an emergency and closed a bit early but they had also changed their hours and too good to go had made a mistake and they should not have posted that a bag was available as Sugar Queen had already let them know to cancel any Wednesday bags! so even through their emergency they kept in contact with me and promised to make things right since i had driven a hour to get there and even though the error on on too good to go not Sugar Queen themselves. and in the end i believe the gentlemans name is Matt, such a wonderful gentleman, he let me know that he was going to deliver the cake slices to my door which he did indeed and even brought a few extra treats which he didnt have to to make up for all the confusion! honestly 15 stars out of 10 i have never had customer service like this, ppl who care so much about their customers when they could have just said its too bad and left the balme with too good to go!
