Definitely a hidden gem in Richmond, BC. It’s located inside the Admiralty Centre Food Court.

We ordered the Combo A: 6 Pork XLB with 15 Shrimp Wontons in Chicken Soup and their Pan Fried Buns. They provided black vinegar dipping sauce with and without ginger, however, they also had other condiments on their counter such as chili oil.

The XLB and pan fried buns were delicious and the fillings were tender. They had the right amount of filling to wrapper ratio which I appreciated very much. The dishes were served hot so be careful when biting into them!

The 15 shrimp wonton soup had small wontons but the soup overall was very comforting especially for the cold and rainy weather in BC. For my own preferences, they added a bit too much white pepper into the chicken broth but it complimented the shrimp wontons well when eaten together.

We arrived very late near closing time. The nice ladies still took the effort make us a carefully presented meal for us.

Xiao long baos were steamed perfectly. The wrapper is thin, as they should be, but has a good smooth texture that did not accidentally break. The filling and broth have a good taste which is not too salty or dilute.

We also had the wonton in soup. Decent amount of filling in wontons. Soup is just right. Wontons cooked perfectly and not falling appart. Many places make it too salty.

Final dish we had was a rice with salted pork and chopped greens dish. I have never tried it before this time but it is a simple comfort food which felt good...

Just tried some xiaolongbao here. First of all, it's so cute that they give it to you in an actual steamer! The dumplings themselves are quite tasty, TONS of soup and super thin skin. Easily the same quality as many Shanghainese sit down restaurants. The staff are also nice and food doesn't take too long. Highly recommend trying this if you are in Richmond!

Update: Got some chicken soup wontons last time I was here. Finally got to try making them today (I just have too much food to get through in the freezer lol). Anyways they're super delicious!!! Highly recommend grabbing a pack of these if you come by. 🤭 Nice and easy to just boil with a simple...
