Freshslice Pizza — Restaurant in Richmond

I just ordered and paid EXTRA on UberEats for their buy 1 get 1 free GLUTEN FREE Italian feast pizzas(as I have a high sensitivity to gluten), but I received BOTH pizzas WITH GLUTEN!! I know, because I have been eating/buying gluten free foods, and known about my food sensitivities for over a decade now since I was tested. My family and I have ordered and had gluten free pizzas(and pizzas with gluten for my family members with no gluten sensitivities)from many different Fresh Slice locations and have eaten and tried a variety of gluten free pizzas out there since they started making them. So I know the difference between the pizzas WITH gluten and the ones WITHOUT.

When I called to address the issue with them in a mature manner, she kept insisting that "[she's] sure, she remembers [she] made the pizzas with gluten free dough..", even though I explained my knowledge, experiences described above and knew it was NOT gluten free. She didn't even apologize, or care to believe me, or try to compensate me somehow for the poor customer service, mistake, giving me attitude, and not only that, mid conversation she FLAT OUT HUNG UP ON ME! 😧 Never ordering from this location again and highly recommend any other location, especially the location in Steveston Village, where they gave me exceptional customer service and kindly offered me dipping sauces on the house! Ironwood location is great...

I’m celiac and it’s hard for me to decide where to eat for a lot of reasons. I decided I wanted white sauce pizza as red sauce is an irritant to my digestive track. So I went and specifically ordered a white sauce pizza and last minute asked the man if he would be able to add pepperonis to my order. He replies yes and made my pizza. When I got to the car I realized that it was made with red sauce and went back to ask the man if there was anything he could do as I ordered it with white sauce. He acknowledged that I did order it with white sauce but said that pepperoni usually goes with red sauce.. I asked if he could remake it for me with white sauce and he smiled and said if I pay again yes.. i dont understand why I would have to pay again to have my order made how I ordered it, not to mention they have a build your own pizza bar.. quite an interesting experience eating here as someone with...

Dear Manager,

I am writing to share my disappointment regarding the service I received on September 5, 2025, at around 3:00 AM. The employee assisting me was Arsh.

Unfortunately, the experience was very unsatisfactory. The pizza was not prepared as per the instructions provided — for instance, the tomatoes were not even sliced properly. On top of that, the customer service was extremely poor. The employee came across as rude, dismissive, and arrogant, which made the interaction unpleasant.

As a customer, I believe service and food quality go hand in hand, and this experience fell short on both. I strongly recommend addressing this matter so that future customers do not face a similar issue.
