EDIT: SunTea reached out to me here regarding the previous experience I had which was an inconsistent mochi milk tea. I would definitely be returning as they make really delicious and refreshing drinks, and the fact that they reached out was surprising because most restaurants or places don't seem to respond to emails even after they tell you to write them. Even though I gave them 4 stars initially, they wanted to show that they are happy to make the extra effort so they definitely deserve 5 stars for that! Thank you SunTea for caring about your customers and for being so responsive. You're officially my favourite bubble tea place :)

Original Review: I really want to give this place 5 stars but since I went twice, first time lots of mochi in my soybean mochi milk tea and second time not so much, (only two sips) I think the servings are inconsistent. Ordered over the phone, gone shopping for 30-40mins. When to pick up order still not really. -cashier was rude due, I ask for my order the 2nd time. I mentioned It has been 45-50mins since I order . -waited for another 15mins more and I processed to ask the 3rd time while I notice that bunch of drinks already made and setting by the back counter. Cashier that was working was just lost and no one seems to be helping him. -While standing in the side me and another customer heard a very loud and weird sounds. I ask him what it was and he mentions that spoon was inside.. -Lady that was making the drinks left the spoon inside the blender, that’s when I saw her stop the blender and took out the spoon and never replaced the batch she was making.. When I saw that she still serve that batch of drinks that was the last straw for me. That was unsafe for the customer to serve and still served it!! My daughter and I been ordering in this location for a very long time. But I have noticed that service has not been good for a while...

Went here at 6:30pm, got a boba milk tea and strangely half the pearls are undercooked and dry in the middle, and half are too soft. I feel like for $7.5 their pearl management should be better even if its a slow time of day. The milk tea tastes rich but astringent so maybe steeped too long. Compared to the No. 3 rd location, its quite different. Best not get boba milk tea if its not a busy day.

Edit: SunTea reached out to me and had offered a free drink along side of their apologies for such an event. I deeply value their customer service more than any other boba shop in Vancouver. Don't hesitate to let them know if something is wrong. The second drink I got was pretty good, the milk tea in generally is very good, but not my favorite taste of pearls. I also wish they had more sugar options like 25%. They have a sugar-free option but they couldnt clarify what it was so I didn't end up taking it.

Given how nice they are, I would definitely go back. Thats how you do...
