Save your money! and spend the few extra dollars to get bubble waffle soup 3 stalls down. This place is Not very good anymore, prices seem reasonable until you see and taste what you get. I ordered Tripe and beef balls. A laughable 4 pieces of meatball (looks like one meatball cut into 3). The girl rolled her eyes when I asked for meatball and tripe because it's not their usual menu but it's it other combos. The tripe looked like 3 strands the size and length of a French fry😳🧐. They didn't offer spicy sauce or hoisin, so I asked. They only gave a small sauce cup of a very small amount of ?siracha so I had to ask again for hoisin and the guy asked me if he could put it in the same sauce cup as the siracha lol. I just said yes because it was already embarrassing. Normal amount of noodles. Won't go back again...if I do it's only for their Vietnamese coffee because its not bad and it's still a reasonable price. Pls avoid.Try to find the tripe in my photo.

Glad I was finally able to try this place. I got the brisket pho. The brisket was super tender with tasty fatty bits. It was good for a light meal. I liked the option of picking between thick udon noodles and medium bun bo hue type noodles. No thin or flat rice noodles here. The menu board is clear and easy to read. The lemon drink was tasty, too. Definitely coming back here. The broth here seems to be more Northern style, as what I had in Hanoi. It’s mainly a mild broth, noodles, few onions, and minimal herbs. Majority of people are used to the Southern style with strong flavors, sauces, and piles of sprouts and herbs. And if you’re an instant noodle soup addict, forget about it. This one will seem bland. That is how it is. It’s meant to have a light taste. It’s like basic congee - a bowl of hot and nourishing comfort food. If you insist on fancy pho, walk over to T&T and buy bean sprouts and herbs, then get a bowl of pho here.

I had the lemongrass pork vermicelli bowl. Unfortunately, it was really weird tasting. Firstly, the sauce on the vermicelli seemed to be a peanut sauce, but tasted a little soapy, like cleaning solution. The meat itself did not taste fresh, almost a little rancid. It had minced garlic on top, which tasted alright but it was very strong. The spring roll was not crispy at all even though it looked really good. They also give you the tiniest cup of fish sauce so you can't even drown the flavour out of the dish. I couldn't finish the plate. I would expect this quality for maybe under $10, but i spent $13 on this meal so it was very disappointing.

We ordered the Vietnamese coffee. When my sister told him no sugar for the drink, he did not say anything. Later we found out that he did not add the condensed milk so we went back and asked him to make another one for us. He said because we said no sugar so he did not add the condensed milk. Sugar and condensed milk are two different things; he should inform us that there is no sugar and just the condensed milk and if that is okay for us. Also, the drink that he made was not the same as the picture on the screen. When I told him the above, he said, "Because I shook the drink." That means they put the wrong picture on the screen to mislead customers. He tried to make it sound like it was our fault by saying, "Usually we don't make another one for customers but I will make it for you" when in reality it was his fault that he did not distinguish added sugar and condensed milk . He did not make another one for us; he just poured the drink from the old cup to a new cup and added tap water and evaporated milk. He did not use condensed milk. That means it was not a Vietnamese coffee and he did not give us what we asked for. They were deceiving customers.

P.S. He did not process our transaction with the cash register; he just said the total amount and simply took our cash. That means they could charge us any...

The best thing about this place is the bread... Everything else is horrible. The service is the worst I have received in B.C. They gave my order to another woman, usually I wouldn't mind, no big deal - mistakes happen. But what happened afterwards absolutely shocked me... The cook went over to the lady who had already sat down... Brought back the food, and tried to serve it to me. Completely violating all H&S food standards. When I refused, the attitude I received from the server was horrible. I eventually received my order of fish vietnamese roll... It just tasted like oil, bread and lettuce. *Edited - do not be fooled by the below response. They tried to hand me the food that the other woman had and seemed dumbfounded when I refused it. Yes, I did eventually receive a fresh cooked meal - I never said that I didn't. I was shocked that they even tried to hand me the 'used food' in the first place. The spring rolls should have been offered to me today... instead I received bad attitude. I will not ever be returning to that shop and I urge others to stay away - there are plenty of other amazing food outlets in...
