Yummy Deli & Coffee — Restaurant in Richmond

My mother and I visited this diner shortly after I had a doctor’s appointment regarding my potential lung infection. I was pleasantly surprised by the countertop menu signs, which allowed me to communicate my order despite my injured throat preventing me from speaking. The family staff were very patient, friendly, and transparent about the food items they could provide.

While I waited for my order to be served, I was delighted by the nostalgic interior design, the children’s drawings on the wall, and the gentle music filling the room, which made me feel at ease after all the day’s troubles. My banana loaf slice and cream in mushroom soup were served promptly and tasted wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom soup, which was warm and tasted fresh and smooth.

The staff took great care of us while we were eating, and bid us farewell with great kindness. The morning after this visit, my throat miraculously healed, and I believe that the love and care put into this diner’s mushroom soup is what healed it. This was an experience I’ll never forget, and I’ll be sure to visit again the next time I have to visit the doctor’s office. God bless this diner....

It is not a classy restaurant. I ordered a full breakfast with a house coffee. Price is on high side. U may find it in Parker Place/Admiralty centre which is relatively cheaper. But the food in general is acceptable! The litte restaurant operated by Church fellow seniors. They were nice and humble. The location is a bit remote and u need a pay parking. However, I was dropped by after visiting my family doctor. The advantage is it located under a clinical building and quite convenience to have food to feed your stomach 😃!! The atmosphere here is another good choice which I think is quiet and u can refresh yourself after consulting the doctor 🤔!! It is worth for me to try Curry Chicken and beef in my next visit for a lunch 🤣which I heard were pretty good with...

Came here In-between appointments with my girlfriend and i'm so glad we did! Family owned and the sweetest owners i've ever met. I got the American breakfast with bacon and sausage (eggs over easy) and my girlfriend got the breakfast sandwich with ham, both of which were absolutely cooked to perfection.

They brought the coffee and food directly to our table and were very attentive during our entire stay, my girlfriend also got two rice dumplings to go and they communicated with us so the dumplings would be ready right when we went to walk out the door.

Very clean as well! Absolutely spotless and you can tell they take pride in their business (as they should!)
