Northern Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Saint John

Visiting the East Coast from Vancouver (home of some fantastic Asian food) I can say in good faith that Northern Chinese Kitchen is most definitely worth a visit.

Run by one very busy, but very friendly woman, you may have to wait a few minutes to be served, however the food is worth the wait.

Homemade dumplings were fantastic, served with black vinegar, soy, and chilli oil.

Sautéed guy lan with mushrooms, and pineapple chicken were also great.

I wouldn’t usually order a more westernized dish, but the pineapple chicken didn’t disappoint and was tender, lightly breaded, and not too sweet.
