This is my favourite place to go for Vietnamese when I'm back home in Saskatoon. The sate pho is delicious and the salad rolls are next level. Next, NEXT level though, are the spring rolls. Saskatoon spring rolls are notably different than Vietnamese spring rolls in other cities. They are probably best described as a sausage roll meets a spring roll. Crispy on the outside (with rice paper, making it gluten-free) and meaty on the inside. Fellow food media who have grown up in Saskatoon and now live elsewhere (like myself) will also swear by these spring rolls. I wish they delivered nation-wide! No joke.

Ordered from here a few times. Tonight, it was like I didn't! The shrimp, egg rolls, and chicken balls were so hard, they were barely edible. I took close up pics so you can see the hard edges. You cant even identify the shrimp as being shrimp!! I called the restaurant and the boss offered me 20% (@$15) off next time, she wouldn't even come to the phone! We ordered 7 dishes and 3 were disgusting...I expected 50%...there won't be a 'next time'

I have been here dozens of times over the years: With family, friends, co-workers, band-mates, etc. The 'number 35' drew me in years ago, and the friendly staff and welcoming environment has kept me coming back. As far as I am concerned, they serve up the best noodle bowls in Saskatoon. The food is delicious, and the pricing is very reasonable.

I’ll start by saying we ordered from here a few months ago, we tried the deluxe wonton soup and the fried wontons. The soup was awful (not sure what’s in it but something was so overpowering that it completely ruined it) but the wontons were awesome. We weren’t planning to ever order again but I wanted the wontons again and other people said good things about the food there. We ordered $100 worth of delivery last night. I have to say, for the price and quality of the food, it was not worth it. Deep fried wontons - these are awesome but they could have a little more filling in them. You are eating 3 quarters wonton paper lol like I mean the filling isn’t even the size of a red grape. The flavour and the dip with it is very good though. Chicken balls - decent flavour but they’re quite small and there were hardly any in our order compared to the amount that most restaurants give. Deep fried shrimp - we were very happy with the size of the shrimp, quite large but the breading was really doughy and gooey. Had to pull most of it off. Vietnamese spring roll - I had a feeling they wouldn’t be any good because I saw that they only have beef, most places use pork, but we tried it anyway. They were terrible. So greasy, and the beef filling was not good at all. To top it off, the fish sauce was horrible!!! So bland, didn’t taste right. Ginger beef - was okay but not as good as everywhere else in the city, portion was way smaller. (There was only 2 of us and let’s just say there’s barely enough leftovers for one person). Koo loo pork - also smaller portion than everywhere else. Hardly any leftovers (and I only had like 4 pieces on my plate). Chef Express downtown has way better Koo Loo Pork and gives a full container. Szechuan chow mein - decent flavour, but very greasy, and hardly any meat/veggies compared to most places. It only came with 3 shrimp, and I think 3 mushrooms. The chicken pieces were so tiny.

They had a very old man deliver it, he could barely hear anything we were saying and I felt so bad for him that I gave him a $10 tip, even though we’re only a block away so he didn’t drive far, but based on the food portions I probably wouldn’t have tipped at all. I was debating between 2 or 3 stars but I’ll give 3 because I really like the deep fried wontons, it’s not something you can get everywhere, and the flavour of most of the dishes was decent so we were still able to enjoy our food for the most part. There’s just not really anything left for leftovers after spending $100, like the leftovers you’d have from most places. If I ever order again it’ll probably just be the fried wontons...

NOPE! NOT EVER AGAIN!! My first experience with this restaurant and the most disappointing ever. Not sure if the ingredients were leftovers from the holidays but everything was barely edible! Order for 6 people was $105 without taxes/tip. Received an email at 4 pm that order was in progress for delivery at between 5:30 and 5:45 pm. Order arrived at 6:20 pm. We did get a call at approximately 5:45 that the driver was delayed, and he apologized profusely on arrival. But food was barely lukewarm on arrival. Overall, portions were small with containers about 2/3 full, but in this case, not a bad thing! The details: 2x Deluxe Wonton Soup (supposedly to serve up to 2 people each) $17.50+$2 extra veggies - for two one-litre containers with only 4 small (3/4" diameter) wontons in each container! 1x Vietnamese Spring Rolls (4 pcs) $7.25 - cold, hard filling and wrapper. Greasy and inedible. 1 x Chicken Chow Mein $9.00 1 x BBQ Pork Chow Mein $9.00 1x Mushroom Chow Mein $9.00+$2 extra vegies All 3 chow mein were bland, all tasted the same, and only 8-10 tiny pieces of chicken and pork in each of those dishes. Found star anise in one dish - gave it a weird flavour. 1x Ginger Beef $13.95 1x Sweet and Sour Lean Pork $10.75 Both ginger beef and S&S pork - on opening, both were a congealed, unappetizing mess. The meat inside both was so dry it broke apart on trying to chew it. 1 x Deep-Fried Shrimp (20 pcs) $17.50 Exterior looked okay, but interior was a layer of grease like they'd been fried twice. Hard to find the skinny, dried up shrimp inside. 1 x Chicken Fried Rice $9.00 Rice was undercooked and drenched in soy sauce, and flavoured with ginger...yuck. There were a few pieces of dry...

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT go here. The most watered down food I've ever eaten by far. I ordered a delivery for shrimp chow mein and vietnamese spring rolls. Not only did I get what was essentally a bit sausage wrapped in what can only be described as deep fried wontons , but delivery took an hour. The chow mein noodles had clearly been boiled for way too long, I barely had to chew them as they pretty much disintegrated into my mouth as I ate or shall I say attempted to eat . They ended up just tasting like elongated gnocchi.

When I called to complain the receptionist/call attendant rushed me off the phone and said that the manager was wouldn't be available for another half hour and that the resteraunt was'busy'......?!

Pointers:

1.) Advertise you dishes on the Menu correctly. 2.) Use the right ingredients for your dishes ( or just learn how to cook properly). 3.) Listen to your customers when they have...
