New Update: (1 star 3 seasons, 3 star in peak summer, 4+ star staff though)
They are properly executing mobile orders again now, and often have 2 registers open which massively speeds things up... (7min wait from mobile order to coffee hand-off today is "good" for this location)
Old reviews still stand as they only operate properly at peak summer. It's still the slowest Tim's any day but it isn't the staffs fault. Many staff are incredible, but the store is simply underresouced. I'd suggest paying a living wage to increase staff and retention. For context rent in town is over $1100 for a 270sq foot bachelor apt. Owners could share some of that hand over fist income with those doing the real work.
Old review: Absolutely the slowest Tim Hortons in Ontario. Only tolerable with app for in store pick up (I only get coffee and it still takes at least 10min to order, and 5min+ wait for coffee - but still beats the 20min+ Drive-Thru)
Old update: 3 seasons they refuse in-store pick up but you don't know while ordering. Building only accessable 8am to 2pm then Drive-Thru only.
The worst is seeing unwitting patrons waiting patiently and finally fed up asking where their order is only to be told they must now Drive-Thru.... for their in-store pickup. Its diabolical. Not everyone has a car, but either way it's outrageous to have them wait...
Read moreTo the lady working at this establishment that was upset at me because I placed a mobile order in advance and called the restaurant to request to see if a staff member could bring me out my beverage because I had my dog with me (not a service animal). The lady came outside with my drink and told me that moving forward they would NOT be able to do this and that if I want to get something I am expected to tie my dog up to the bike rack, located directly next to their drive thru where cars are moving frequently through and come inside to grab my own items.
I’m going to assume you don’t own a dog, but let me educate you. Never will I ever leave my dog unattended especially connected to something which is next to a drive thru and on a hot day. I’m sorry this 10 second encounter was that much of an inconvenience to you, and be advised last time I did this, the lady who brought the iced Capp to me was very pleasant, pet my dog and made sure that this incident that you seen as an inconvenience was not a problem.
Perhaps the manager at this establishment should advise this person to be more considerate to...
Read moreWhen visiting any restaurant at a busy time you have to keep in mind that it is a stressful job , anyone who dissagrees hasnt worked this type of job, or must be an anomaly. This in mind i had a visit today and amongst the chaos one particular staff member stood out. David is a hard worker and works quickly and professionally to correct orders and heep his customers satasfied. I saw this young man fix 3 orders in the time i was there and he did it with a great additude and smile. Way to go your manager should be proud. Ive been in the service industry i know how it is and we all need to cut some slack to the people behind the counter! A little patience goes a long way and if you are late to work already skip the coffee dont blame a restaurant for your poor tine management. Remember when reading reviews people are always quick to write a negative one when they feel like they've been wronged, but rarely take time to write a positive one. Bad news spreads...
