Fantasy land for tart lovers. I, by no means, am a baking aficionado. That being said, I do appreciate a good pastry. I have to say, The Queen's Tarts has it dialed in. The flavors and variety of tarts is expansive. The pastry is flaky and crisp, and holds the filling well. The tarts are baked perfectly, the filling isn't running everywhere after your first bite, nor is the filling dry and cracked. Each bite has ample amount of filling to enhance the pastry's rich flavour. This place offers a sit down environment offering a selection of coffee and lunch time snacks to go along with there wide assortment of tarts. Try out The Queen's Tarts on Queen Street, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. A worth...

The annual pilgrimage to bow down to the best butter tart bakers in all the realm! After four years of watching the lines at The Queen’s Tarts snake across the road, I joined the lineup to see what all the fuss was about.. simply divine perfection. Equal to and different from DooDoo’s Diane Rogers handmade one at a time masterpieces. Both now become must-have’s! And I guessed what the mystery is of why their line is longest and slowest: they sell singles, no prepacks - everyone’s order is different, they get exactly the assortment of the 25 flavors that they want! Too bad Queen’s is a day away in Sault St. Marie... my newly reduced waistline is safe .. until they move...

Queens Tart is still bistro royalty and after years of visiting they still impress with quality. They don't skimp on ingredients and make almost everything in house. At the start their savory food was not quite up to par with their coffee. These days however it is becoming more and more unique and delicious.

They managed to covert me to the widely polarizing pumpkin spice. They make their syrup in house that captures the earthly complexity of the autumn favorite. The one note sweetness is not found here. Paired with their hand roasted house blend espresso I can't think of a better pairing on a cooler Saturday. Drop in and give it a try and...

We bought three flavors and all the tarts were lovely. The lemon was my favorite. The tarts are sold individually and you don't have to purchase six at a time as another reviewer said. We strolled in and bought three. This is a very cute and tiny shop in Sault Ste. Marie. Cute and tiny like a tart!
