⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fico Fusion Cuisine – A Hidden Gem in Port Perry
From the moment we stepped into Fico Fusion Cuisine, we felt like VIP guests. Chef Ram greeted us warmly by name, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch—it immediately set the tone for an exceptional evening.
The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with a perfect balance of upscale and relaxed. Shortly after we were seated, Chef Ram surprised us with a complimentary appetizer, beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. It was an unexpected gesture that made us feel truly welcomed and appreciated.
We started off with the Fico cocktail, and wow—it was absolutely fabulous. Refreshing, balanced, and with a unique twist that you won’t find anywhere else in town. It's a must-try for any cocktail lover.
For our mains, we ordered the Penne Chicken and the Grilled Salmon. The penne was cooked al dente, coated in a rich, savory sauce, and the chicken was perfectly tender and juicy. The Grilled Salmon was a standout—fresh, flaky, and seasoned just right, served on a bed of lightly sautéed vegetables that complemented the dish perfectly.
Every dish we tried was executed with care and passion. The flavors were bold yet balanced, the presentation was elegant, and the portion sizes were generous.
To top it all off, the service throughout the night was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive.
If you're in Port Perry and looking for a dining experience that combines warm hospitality, high-end fusion cuisine, and a personal touch, Fico Fusion Cuisine is the place to go. We left with full stomachs and happy hearts—thank you, Chef Ram, for a memorable evening. We’ll...

Read moreWhen I heard of this restaurant being in the area, I was very excited. I live 40 minutes further out from Port Perry and my town has no Tamil restaurants. I was incredibly disappointed. Food was ok - I’ve had better. Overpriced for small portions. The same kinds of dishes just down in Oshawa or Whitby at a Tamil-Sri Lankan restaurant can be bought for more than half the price they’re selling here and bigger portions. 2 mutton rolls shouldn’t cost 12 dollars. 1 kothu roti shouldn’t cost over 20 dollars. I think the owner knows he’s got a bit of a monopoly on South Indian/Sri Lankan food in the area and has marked up his prices to reflect this for local (white) people who don’t know any better. Tamil food is not a pretend-luxury gourmet. It’s a comfort food - it’s part of our culture and a way to share our culture with non-Tamils. Owner has clearly lost sight of that. As a fellow Tamil, I had higher/better expectations. I was very excited to finally have a Tamil restaurant near home. I ordered my takeout, talked with one of the Tamil server girls there about how upset I was about the pricing and left the restaurant with my food, feeling very sad and heartbroken. I’m sorry to say I probably wont go here anymore. This was a first and...
