Sherwood Pizza — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

We started coming to this place back when Omar owned it, we'd get donairs every couple of weeks. At the time, I would have told you "I don't like pizza.". Then one night we came in for donairs but they were out of wraps & suggested the deluxe donair pizza...I grudgingly went with it & a Hawaiian pizza as the second, figuring I could choke a bit down just to fill the hole. Oh. My. Heaven. It was so good, we ate every crumb, including the crusts! (I've always disliked crusts, but I LOVE the crust here! So so good!) The donair pizza is now ordered more often than donairs! No matter what pizza we order, there are always loads of toppings and it arrives piping hot. We've recently discovered the starters menu -- we HIGHLY recommend the Calamari, it's better here than most high-end fancy restaurants! The wings are always delicious, and we really enjoy the mozza sticks with marinara sauce. We've had a couple of the subs, and they're great, too. We were so happy to know that Sonny is now the big bossman, he hasn't changed the food, if anything it's even better! The delivery folks are always awesome, too, we love them all. I may have a bit of a bias being an ex-staff member of Sherwood Nitzza Deluxe Pizza, but I can promise you that this still to this day is my favourite pizza place.

Since I left, they have expanded the menu even more to offer plenty of great options. The staff are hardworking and always willing to correct an error if they make one, which in my opinion is rare with them.

They have made themselves more accessible for all by having their own online ordering system, which is extremely user friendly and offers a discount (on their website), and they are on skip the dishes as well. It makes it easy for people like me who don’t like ordering over the phone and so I can specify in detail everything I want on my online order.

I hope everyone gets a chance to experience the wonderful man Sunil (I hope I spelt this right) or as I and most staff members call him “Sunny.” He is one of the most hardworking people that keeps this fast paced business running smoothly.

So this restaurant or pizza place has gone through another ownership change and there is very drastic and very noticeable lack of standards basic manners they have gone up in price witch is understandable but when you up 25% in price and down 50% in service and quality you do not get the same business and the same share of the market industry this would be under the pizza 73 for quality and service this is a restaurant I had highly reviewed and was a go to for 15 years and the last 6 visits where no where near acceptable and free low quality pizza is not the answer i will be putting emerald hills nitza's the original owners back in the #1 spot as of now and wont be returning to this restaurant your going to drive your customer base off with your current...
