I ordered a drink called Taphouse Punch. I switched out the spiced rum for Malibu rum and skipped on the lime juice. Very tasty! Worth $9. Then I checked out the food menu. I believe I chose the Bourbon St Penne. Don't quote me, I know that I'm close if I'm not 100% right. Anyhow, I switched out the Chipotle sauce that they stir into the penne with chicken chunks cooked to perfection, spicy sausage was so juicy and delicious, and the shrimp were cleaned without the shell!!! Then an older woman asked if I wanted another drink. I chose the Twisted Cosmo. Again I altered this as well by adding more Cranberry. The staff go above and beyond to make their customers happy by filling out their reasonable changes to what I like! Worth the money here! Make sure you tip when paying your tab! Best service I have ever received! A special shout out to the younger woman working there, not my server, but notices my empty plate, and approaches me with outreached hands asking if she can take my plate. Listen up! I don't like sitting with dirty dishes in front of me. This woman had my plate in her hands in under two minutes!!! The live entertainment they had was great! This man sounded like the artists I grew up listening to like John Cougar Mellencamp. I hope he has a full time job here! He is very talented! I would definitely...
Read moreWe decided to take a small adventure this past weekend as a family to Smiths Falls, after which we needed some refreshment. A quick Google search revealed this quaint spot along the water, boasting a nice patio with views of an old mill. It was fairly calm/quiet, views were nice and the food was good. We had some chicken tacos, gyoza dumplings, chicken tenders, cheese nachos and salad. My boy devoured his chicken tenders and fries which was pleasing to see as he can be quite picky with food. My daughter's nachos were decent, I mean it was melted cheese on nacho chips so pretty hard to mess that up! Our dumplings were pretty good but the tacos could have used a bit more punch, perhaps some cilantro or other spices but still overall satisfying. The cocktails were delicious and I would definitely visit this place again as there were some other items on the menu I am curious to try (Lobster cheese dip and...
Read moreWas very disappointed to have travelled 1.5 hours with my spouse to be denied at the door because of our very well behaved little Chihuahua dog. Upon travelling to Smith Falls, we looked into the town which advertised itself as pet friendly and was confirmed with a city employee that patios should not be refusing access. The Lockmaster employee did not want to cooperate and refused to adhere to town pet friendly policy even when he was showed the information on the website and provided with a number to confirm the information himself. When asked to speak to his manager, the answer was he wasn't around and to forget about it, we wouldn't be able to dine there that day. Very rude. This place is not inclusive and is not a pet friendly patio. Very...
