tonight we were on the go so stopped at Wendy’s to grab a quick dinner. There was no one in line and it still took the numerous people working behind the counter to acknowledge us. Food was fine. But while leaving my daughter slipped on a mat on the ground and face planting. Really injuring her knee and face planting into her drink. The drink was all over and she was in tears. We rushed to the bathroom to get cleaned up. When I came out I looked at the little mat she slipped on and it was so slippery with no rubber under it. The mat went right out from underneath her causing her to crash. When I spoke to the people behind the counter they did not care at all about how upset we were and the injuries that incurred with there ridiculous useless mat that was a hazard. I was then charged for two which I only realized once they handed me two and I was like I only asked for one? They just stared at me after taking the second away and I said “So do I get a refund??” they said yes and smiled weirdly impolitely, like I was bothering them and then handed me change… I paid with card. So I drove off like whatever, I then realized they gave me 1.50 back in change which is 17 cents less than what I should have been refunded but I didn't go back because who goes back for 17 cents. Read moreI frequent this Wendy's during the day and they're usually great with their service and food quality. Their PM crew? Rude and cranky. I came at around 10:30pm and their drive-thru was pretty busy. As I order my first item, the order taker abruptly responds with "THAT'S EVERYTHING?" sounding as if she wanted me to finish ordering already. I get to the window and there's no greeting and when the lady handed my order to me she doesn't communicate anything to me and just leaves me hanging instead of repeating my order or bidding me farewell.
