King's Express Chinese Food — Restaurant in St. Catharines

We were having an early Mother's Day as we will not be able to next weekend and decided to order from King's. We placed the order at 6:45PM for delivery, after waiting over an hour we thought we would call just to check in on the eta at 8:06PM and were told that our food hadn't been cooked yet and would take another 30 minutes, we decided to wait as chinese food is our favourite but we don't order it very often. We waited more than the 30 minutes and received a call from King's at 9:01PM that our food was still cooking and would be out for delivery in 15 minutes, we also live about a 15 minute drive away from the restaurant as well which meant it would still be another 30 minutes. We asked if there would be a discount due to the long wait and were told that our total would now be $70.85 instead of $77.85, equating to about a 9% discount. We decided to cancel our order at that time as we felt this wasn't sufficient considering such a long wait. Very disappointing experience and will not be ordering...

CRAZY ! These people are very dumb or they try to act like it, they're idiots! Well first of all at the front desk there was no one that spoke english and you couldn't even understand one word they were saying. Second we asked what's the difference between fried noodles and chow mein, she didn't even explain all the way and as I said before you couldn't understand, at least they could have called someone or showed us a picture or something. So later we ordered vegetable chow mein and vegetable fried rice. And they gave us the food we asked for plates she said how many and we said 4 plates later we went home and saw only 2 plates ! We opened up the food and you wouldn't even believe it ! The chow mein was all white and raw not even cooked the rice was exactly the same vegetables and they just added rice it looked like barf! The chow mein wasnt even soft like they are supposed to. In my whole life I have never seen such disgusting food! They have no idea what they are doing. I highly recommend...

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The woman at the counter is crass, unhygienic, slow witted and a flat out liar. Every single time myself or someone I know has ordered from there has always had to wait for their food regardless of what time they're told to pick it up. Even people I don't know that are standing around waiting have openly complained about the same thing. To top it off, she refused us service last time because we asked politely to please have our order on time and she rudely said that, "go somewhere else tough guy"?? I mean how the he'll is this woman in business? Will never go back...
