Another dissatisfied customer. Not only does this McDonald's pull people to the side to cheat on their service levels, but also cheat the customer out of what they have paid for. I have never taken the time to call the restaurant to complain when the order that was paid for wasn't received. Today I did.. after thinking of how many times they've gotten away with it in the past. First was the irritating long wait time after being told to park. So long that after the third car that parked after me was served, that I FINALLY said something to the food runner. She apologized and said she'd go in and get it right then. She returned with our order and two apple pies to make up for the wait. Only to get home and be missing a sandwich. That's when I decided to call. I spoke with a male manager whose FIRST response was ''I'm sorry , I'll let them know to do better' that was the initial response as he tried to end the call. I had to say something about paying for the product and not getting it. THEN he said I could return for a refund. I advised how inconvenient that was. THEN he said maybe they could send me something, and tried again to just end the call without getting any of my information to get in contact with me. I had to say to him, well don't you need my information to do that? Ultimately the phone call was as much of a waste of time as the waiting for the food at the restaurant. Can't wait now for the 'waste' to come out so we can be done with McDonald's, needless to say, they're off our list. They can keep their empty apologies and we'll take our empty bellies elsewhere. Read moreJust went through the drive thru tonight at 10:30ish Friday March 11, after working a 15 hour day. The cashier was very pleasant, as was the young lady that gave us our food. But when we got home my McDouble was to have extra pickles & no onions. It had onions on it and no extra pickles. So I called & ask for the manager on duty, and explained what had occurred with my burger, she cut me off as I was speaking, told me I was wasting her time, that she had other things to do. I told her I was the customer & would like the owner’s name, wouldn’t give me the name saying it was a privacy act, and she proceeded to ask me what I wanted her to do, she said that if I wasn’t coming back tonight that she would send a coupon out in the mail that would take 2-4 weeks. She kept on asking me for my name, as if I was bothering her with this call. Then my sister overheard me talking to her & said she would go back for me and get my burger. Then I asked her name , of course she didn’t give it. Please inform your staff at better handling of customer complaints, and maybe teach them how to use better customer service when dealing with such issues. Today’s experience: Extremely rude and disrespectful front manager, threw food up on the counter when I questioned why she used chicken from an expired tray on my wrap. She got defensive and rude infront of other customers and your staff rather defuse the situation. Extremely disappointing no offense but these Indian people are driving me insane. Rather take accountability you want to try and embarrass me not knowing I’m a former swing manager absolutely insane !
Today’s service unfortunately gets one star.
We were pretty clear with our order which wasn’t very much : one vanilla cone (ask me: please make it small it’s for a child) one fudge sundae and one plain flurry (ask me add caramel please) …. They proceeded to make the vanilla cone large enough for a giant mins you my child was thrilled but not what we asked for. The flurry I asked for to be plain was mixed with Oreo again not the end of the world but not what I asked for and then the sundae this one actually was unacceptable.
