Subway — Restaurant in St. Catharines

Listen, I get that restaurants are struggling to find good staff at the moment and because of that I hate to leave negative reviews right now but I really could not let this one fly...

TO THE RESTAURANT OWNER: You would almost be better just reducing your hours than employing somebody as ignorant and rude as the woman working the night of Nov 30th 2021...this is not the type of person you want representing your business. Me and the guy in front of me bear witness to some of the most egregious behavior I have seen from an employee in any form of customer service. The poor attitude, poor service and outright disrespect she shows to your customers naturally incites an equal and appropriate response from them. Contact me if you would like any additional information from that evening, otherwise I would highly recommend you start taking a closer look into some of these dated negative reviews. Based on the similar reviews I am reading on here this woman has been working at your establishment for at least 6 months... God knows how many customers you have lost...

This is actually 1 of the best Subway's in St.Catharines. Very friendly staff, that always seem to strive to make your sub exactly how u want it, they don't scoff if u wanna be super specific, like some employees at some Subway franchises do. Very clean franchise. Everything from their meats, to their toppings (produce), is always so very fresh. Their bread is always fresh as well, as its made 3 times per day, I know that for a fact, as an employee told me that just today (October 15th 2021), after I asked if my bread was fresh cause it was a bit late in the evening. U can tell this Subway is managed very well. For sure as mentioned, or in my mind and eyes at least the best Subway to goto in St.Catharines. My subs are always perfect when coming from here, over the years ive never had 1 issue or complaint. Cheers to the Subway in the little strip mall, on the corner of Grantham Ave. and...

It's pretty bright and clean inside compared to other locations. That alone doesn't really make this place all that grand. The staff are a lot more snooty and careless in this location, they really take their time getting to the counter and I regularly eat subs from subway but after giving this place a chance a few times it's definitely not worth it. I thought it was just a few off times but seeing the other reviews it's clear that it's just how it is here.

What bothers me now is that they've run a great taco truck out of the parking lot (which is massive enough for subway to be practically a block away from it, by the way..) probably thinking they've compromised their business. Nope, its them shooting themselves in the foot. This has been the busiest I've seen this plaza and it's gonna be sad when that taco truck is gone. Good job ruining your own damn...
