Where do I start. Food is fine when they get it right. For me 1 out of four orders is usually messed up. Why do I keeping going back (pause for dramatic effect) - I have a grand daughter.
This particular time it was customer service. I told the guy my order at the drive thru. Read what he typed and saw an error. Got to the window to pay him and I asked if the kids meal he rung in included a pop, because I also ordered a small frosty. He said, "YES", and I said, "we will see at the next window". When I got to the pick up window, the server gave me the kids meal with the frosty in substitution of the drink. I said that I asked for the frosty in addition to the drink and how much do I owe. She stared at me stunned. Said, "I'll get the drink".
You might say, "Why are you complaining? You got a free frosty". I didn't, I paid for the kids meal and the frosty. So the drink was owed.
The stunned look had that, how dare you question my customer service skills. You complained and I gave you what was missing.
That is not the point. How about when the order is being taken the person actually be attentive and listen to the order. Then when it is handed out the sever read the order make sure it's correct in the bag. Ask if something doesn't seem right. I'm sure Wendy's would like to see the "first time right" numbers higher. Because for me the customer service is just as important as the food.
The receipt said kids meal $$$$ Frosty $$$$
To me this means full kids meal - burger, fries, drink and a frosty
Been in customer...
Read moreAfter midnight, and there I was Trapped for 47 minutes in the drive-thru because once I tried to place an order I was told 6x's (6!!) that ea item I desired, one attempt after the next, "I'm sorry, we're out of [baked potatoes]..", then "chili fries" ..."chili", period... "frostees" ... all "chicken patties"...and..."bottled...Water"! I couldn't order a single cotton-pickin' thing that interested me AND was clearly written on the drive-thru menu...but I couldn't fricken Leave either! Once a Cx gets up to that menu & speaker-board, if there's even a single car behind you (and in this nightmare I was living, there were 5 cars behind me at that point) well Dave, there's no reversing and backing out, so the only alternative is to inch forward for the next 47 minutes, one spot at a time, until you are at the drive-thru window, and at long, long...long last, you've made it to being the first car in line...but sadly with no food to comfort you after that 47 minute trip thru hell... Ya, I kept right on driving past the window...and, the embarrassed, overworked employee - who btw, had the decency to not even Look in my direction as I passed. Will I ever visit a Wendy's Drive-thru again? Would you if...
Read moreBest Wendy's in st.catharines by far. Fresh veggies on the burgers pop tastes more like pop then water, and they do the fries decently unlike some of the other resturaunts. Have yet to try their taco salad though will be doing that on my next visit and shall update review accordingly. Updated review: listen, the past five times I've gone here the quality has just gone down hill, and tonight was by far the worst. Literally no sauces what so ever on my baconnator making it drier then the desert, and extremely hard to eat. And chili cheese fries so salty I almost confused them with my ex and theres enough ice outside you need not fill my cup up with that much ever again. I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 1 utterly unbelievable if I wanted food like that I'd go back...
