We visited on a busy Saturday right at noon. There was a lineup of about 10 people but we were quickly seated. The waitress asked if we would join the other end of a 6 seat table where another couple has seated. We asked them if it was ok. It was fun & we made new friends! The menu choices were just mind boggling. Everything looked enticing! My friend had the Senior's breakfast and said it was delicious. I had the egg, bacon, ettuce tomato bagel and potqtoes like tiny cubed fries that were made perfectly. The mayo on the bagel made it so delicious! The bagel was like fresh out of the oven! The bacon & egg was made perfectly & the tomatoes were also perfect. I noticed they had chocolate peanut butter pie so ate half my lunch so I could have dessert..lol. I ate the other half for evening dinne & it was just as good then. I was so shocked that the pie was only $4. I've paid $10-12 other places for same, but subpar compared to this one. The pastry was very light and almost a cake texture rather than hard pastry. The chocolate peanut butter filling and whipped cream (piled mile high) was Heavenly! I'd go back JUST for the dessert. It was that great. All of the staff were busy but never stopped smiling and never made anyone feel rushed. It was a very welcoming ad friendly restaurant. I'll certainly go back soon. Ps... lots of free parking at the Plaza so we were able to park right in...
Read moreWent to Joe's Diner after a long drive to Stratford. When I enter the door, a super nice and welcoming old man (probably Joe) lead me to my seats. Waitress is very nice and welcoming (who also happens to be gorgeous đ, I promised I'm not being biased heređ) handed me the menus.Ordered the BELT ( bacon eggs lettuce tomato) and Triple Decker Club. Food served pretty quickly. The sandwiches taste amazing. Everything just felt homemade and welcoming. The desert was Peanut butter chocolate pie. I was expecting a tiny slice because it was $3 but the waitress handed me this massive chunk. Don't get me wrong, the pie tasted godly, not too sweet like most pies, and you could tell it was homemade, not those frozen pies served by most diners. They also had free coffee refills, so that was nice. Overall, very impressed by Joe's Diner, a big thumbs up for Joe's Diner. I would recommend anyone passing by Stratford to visit Joe's Diner. I know I already said this but a BIG thumbs up for Joe's Diner! Sorry for the long post, you won't be...
Read morePatrons Joeâs Diner for 2 years. Was friendly cozy atmosphere. Had a bad experience that started over a period of time. One waitress Cloe was friendly during our patriotism then became unfriendly, unsmiling yet greeted other business owners etc in a friendly manner. Our final decision to leave was with Cloe serving us with coffee in absolutely filthy coffee mugs and looked right at us. It was obvious these mugs were filthy. We had noticed the unfriendly behaviour for weeks but this was the last straw. We are breakfast people. We would on average spend $5000. a year on breakfast. Ironically Cloe coincidentally became engaged with the owners son at the same time she became unfriendly to us. Anyway we have discovered another restaurant âStackedâ which has a far better menu and amazing friendly service always . Cloe did us a favour. We throughly enjoy our new breakfast place and enjoy our experience there and they...
