bbq Chicken — Restaurant in Surrey

Incredibly dissapointing meal and service here.

Our first order of chicken came out half warm and half cold. Like actually cold to the touch. Clearly they had reheated some old chicken and tried to serve it to us. Following orders came out hot and freshly made which is what you'd expect...especially at this price.

Portions of chicken are much smaller than all their competitors. The chicken was covered in soooo much sauce and garlic it was like eating sweet garlicy chicken candy; I've eaten korean chicken dozens of times and this is the most sauce I've ever seen by a landslide. Fries weren't good and all clumped together. And no pickled radish is provided even though its given free for takeout orders? Seems like a squeeze to get an extra few bucks from dine in customers.

Getting service here was a chore. I waved my arms around for 10 minutes and the waitresses eyes seem to just ignore the tables. I eventually had to walk up to the waitress to ask for the bill. I should add there were only 3 tables of ppl in the store so not busy at all...

At a higher price point and providing small portions than all their competitors you'd expect exceptional quality food but clearly not. I'll be picking big town chicken and chicko chicken over this place...

Food is good! Two stars because we have been there twice (around 9-9:30 pm), first time the waitress was impatient, and was just hurrying us because she said they will be closing soon- didn’t let us finish ordering, The second time (recently) we entered the place at 9:30pm, and the waitress who greeted us said “Sorry we are not taking anymore dine-ins, we will be closing soon, we just took our last dine-in request” I was pretty taken aback at our welcome, and she turned away without saying another word to us and we were left standing by the entrance, i did check their closing time before coming, which was 10:30pm. Totally get it they would like to close early if there are no customers but what kind of service was this? Went back with empty stomachs. Dear OWNER, please look into the matter that your staff wants to close the restaurant as soon as possible at night, with no regard to the customers coming in for a quick snack before an hour or so of their closing- its not good for your business! Really...

Oh my god this piece smelllss so bad! How come they allow a person to cook a bad and obviously stale chicken! Seriously the first piece smells off already and obviously the colour was bit dark vs a normal chicken bone. And it has after smell when i gave it a chance as I really love their seasoning. But the second piece was really awful smell, my partner just complained to me it has after smell after ripping off the drum stick with a chopstick. My goodness why would you serve it to customers!? You know how bad it smells? It linger in my dinning area, I had to close the lid and garbage it rightaway. And yes we all stopped eating all the food that was delivered! After waiting for more than an hour delivery this is what we get a refund and automated sorry for the 1 thing order. What a bad experience. I hope someone investigate this issue.
