Absolutely authentic and great tasting Chinese food. It is amazing how they managed to present the diversity in Chinese cuisines while maintaining authenticity - Cantonese, Hunan, Sichuan, Northern China. Usually a Chinese restaurant serves only one type. The price is average. The portion is generous. Must-haves are: Bbq pork, BBQ duck as well as Peking duck, Hunan Bamboo shoot stir-fried with smoked pork, spicy Mapo Tofu. You cant really go wrong with anything on the menu.

You should try this place! I did for the first and second time recently and the food was traditional and very delicious! Portions will not disappoint and the price was very reasonable. The inside is a little run down and could be cleaner. The menu is a little unclear and remains on the front counter at all times and you get the feeling its because this is a place for regular customers that come all the time.

绝对是Surrey以及周边川湘菜的首席。就算是跟温哥华最好的川菜湘菜师傅比，也绝对不会逊色。作为湖南人，可以拍着胸脯说用料细心，味道正宗，细心周到，而且继续推陈出新，增加新菜。比如说：烟笋炒腊肉。烟笋是笋尖，吃起来鲜嫩而且软滑，绝对不会出现有太多纤维塞牙的情况。再加上厨房自己熏得腊肉，确实让我吃出家乡的味道。再比如说孜然牛肉，是很正宗的湘菜炒法，没有勾芡，火候掌握的非常好所以肉嫩但是不会很水。今天吃的酸豆角肉末，分量足，豆角腌的刚刚好，酸酸的很开胃，但是不会太咸。白辣椒鸡胗，一道湖南人的最爱，白辣椒晒得正好，鸡胗有嚼劲入味，加上胡萝卜丝和辣椒丝，非常下饭。它家菜价格适中，性价比高，极力推荐。大厨老板娘好客，人都非常好。虽然有时忙起来等待时间较长，但是绝对不会出现因为忙而让菜的质量下降。加分项还有各式烧腊，自己腌制的鸭脖鸭翅，虽然我每次定都卖光了，但是试吃的时候那个味道还在回味。 If you are wanting to try authentic Hunan and Sichuan cuisine with an amazing value proposition and stellar taste on this side of the bridge, then you must try this restaurant. Prices are actually at par if not lower than restaurants of this specialty. It may not be anything you have tried before, but you will be pleasantly surprised. Be sure to ask questions with respect to ingredients, and the spicy level, so you are informed. If you are an adventurous foodie, I think you will really appreciate the diversity and specialty this restaurant has to offer. Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Vancouver in terms of value and taste. Excellent dishes and friendly service! BBQ duck is to die for as well 😄

My wife looked at online reviews and checked out this online menu. We recently moved into area and wanted to try a Chinese Restaurant. So my wife ordered food, over the phone for pickup. Based on online Menu our order should have been around $30 + taxes. I was shopping at nearby Walmart so wife called me and asked to pickup food. I picked up food and paid $49.59 including a 10% tip! When I got home my wife was shocked at the price! Her mistake was she didn't confirm price on the phone. She called the Restaurant and was told that they increased the prices 2 months ago and that they forgot to update it!!! What B.S.!!! Bait and switch for the...

This restaurant is a MESS!!! The first time I ordered they gave me the food I wanted, then the other 4 times I ordered from them they gave me completely WRONG ITEMS!!! Today, I ordered deep fried prawn, she gave me “sweat & sour Prawn”, I ordered 2lb of roasted pork, I said I want pork belly she said it’s gone, so I said, it’s fine give me whatever then, then when my husband came to picked the food she didn’t give him any pork!!!! Hired someone who can speak ENGLISH please, this is the English speaking country. Or stated it clearly: “If the customer don’t speak Mandarin we don’t served you”. Wasted my time & my money. Will never come back...

Racist establishment that only gives preference to their own people ... The woman working gave me a confused look & continued to ignore me, no greeting or a simple welcoming smile until I just walked out & all she could say was was "huh" & carried on with being dismissive ... Never met someone with this level of rude behavior ... What a horrible person to have to be the face of the restaurant ... I was going to make a large order & they lost my business ... Thought I would try after reading some positive reviews but glad they showed their true...
