Curry and Kabab — Restaurant in Surrey

We went to this place after seeing the positive reviews. Food was okayish. We ordered lachha praantha, Naan and Dal Makhni. Salad took so long to come, we were okay with the delay because they were short staffed. Jaspreet was so polite and friendly, she recommended us to get pista kulfi upon asking, and omg I’ve never eaten that kind of kulfi before anywhere in Vancouver or surrey. Kulfi was so yummy. The other girl (gagan, if she gave me her correct name) was subtly rude. When I was checking the bill, she made a remark in a condescending tone saying if there’s any doubt. (Can’t I double check what I’m paying for?) I asked her name and she said why? I said I want to leave a review. she went ahead to say: don’t leave any bad review. Seriously???

Curry and kebab management please teach your staff what customer service is.

Just wow! I didn’t expect such delicious food from a small place like Curry and Kabab. I visited after my friend recommended it to me, and I was pleasantly surprised.

The complimentary papad and chutney were a generous touch, something I haven’t found in the Lower Mainland. It’s refreshing to see a place maintaining the authenticity and tradition of Indian cuisine.

I ordered the dry Manchurian, but it wasn’t up to the Indo-Chinese standard I was expecting. It was too sweet and oily for my taste.

However, the Paneer Lababdar was outstanding with its super masala and mouthwatering gravy. Both the Laccha Paratha and Rumali Roti were excellent. The Butter Chicken could be more delicious with some improvements, but the Chicken Tikka was fantastic.

I recently visited Curry and Kabab in Surrey, and the experience was outstanding! The food here is everything you’d want from authentic Indian cuisine – full of rich flavors and perfectly spiced. The kababs were spot on, and the curries had that true Indian taste, transporting you straight to India with every bite. A special mention to our servers, Gaurav and Manita, who were incredibly helpful in recommending dishes and served everything promptly and with care. Their warm service added to the whole experience.
