Just went here after passing by quite a few times, was always interested but never took the plunge. Now I never heard about this burger chain nor did I look up any reviews. I live 15 mins away and I shop around this area often so when I saw a new restaurant open I was intrigued. Today I was feeling hungry and lo ' n behold I saw what looked like a burger joint. Walk-in and its exactly that(I forgot to take pictures of the menu.)
The menu is very basic with a few different varieties of burgers, you also get a couple hot dog chooses. I like the basic menu because its easy to navigate and choose what you like. Only thing is it doesnt explain the difference between a hamburger and a little burger(the difference is hamburger has two patties while anything with the name little has one pattie.) The lady taking my order was very nice, she was more then willing to answer my questions and although the menu didn't say about the one or two patties she advised me right away on that, very good service. After you choose the burger you choose your condiments. Like I said it was easy and quick to order like a burger place SHOULD BE. I feel it is a bit pricey but when I finally sat down to eat, from my opinion and personal taste, the burger was well worth it. I ordered a poutine and that wasn't as impressive. I like the fries and they gave me alot of fries, a nice amount of gravy, but there was hardly any cheese. I get a poutine cause I love the cheese so for me it was very disappointing to see that I literally had one corner where there was some cheese and thats it.
Also you can eat inside at this location but I ordered to go. The reason I say this is because whenever I grab burgers to go from a place like this or fatburger then by the time I sit down to eat it the meat gets kinda hard. The bun gets very soggy at which point I just eat the pattie. But I was impressed that this burger didn't do that. The meat was cooked perfect and the bun hadn't even gone soggy yet(I realize if you leave it for a while it will but ive had places where not even 5 mins later and the bun gets soggy which is no good.) It was juicy, I would compare this place to Fatburger. Yet at Fatburger I find the burgers are very very greasy where as this place(of course you will have some grease) I didnt have my hands drenched in grease. A bit on the fingerprints but for the most part the juices and grease stay within the pattie which is a great sign for me.
Last few things: The server taking orders said 10-15 and it was 10 from the time I ordered till I got it. It was a busy night and there was 4 other people infront and it they were still on point with their time.(I was with my father for anyone thats interested I ordered two burgers, fries, poutine, and 2 cokes.) I am impressed with the cleanliness of this place. When my father and I got there right after we ordered a different lady came by and wiped all the tables(except the ones where a customer was eating.) So sanitary wise they seem to be doing a good job which is especially important given we are dealing with a pandemic at the moment. I forgot to measure the burgers but they are fairly big and if you get a cheeseburger(I ordered this) you get two patties for just over 9 bucks its a bit pricey but the burger alone would fill up most people and it tastes great man it was delicious I was impressed. If youve ever eaten at Fatburger Its similar but I like this burger better. Fatburger sometimes makes me feel bloated and I dont always get a good after taste. But here at this location of Five Guys. Man I feel full but not bloated, and I have a nice little after taste from the meat thats going down very easy with sips from my coca-cola. This has become my new place to go for burgers or when I dont feel like cooking. I forgot to take pictures of the food it was soo good but here's a few pictures...

Read moreTERRIBLE service do not order from here!!!!!!!!!!!!
I placed an order for lunch today for my coworkers and I. We were disappointed to discover that we were missing one item from our order. Prior to picking up the order, we did confirm that all items were included and the employee repeated the order back to us.
We then called to notify the restaurant that an item was missing and were hoping they could somehow make up for the loss. The employee was extremely difficult and rude and suggested we use skip the dishes and pay a second time for the loss we already suffered. They further suggested that we come back to the restaurant to pick up the food. These suggestions were not suitable as we are all health care workers and work in the hospital and were unable to leave a second time to go back.
We made multiple suggestions such as 1. refund the credit card manually over the phone. 2. They personally deliver the food. 3. Email or text gift cards. 3. They provide skip the dishes to transport the item to us.
According to the manager, none of these suggestions were possible.
I am concerned that a franchise has no problem solving skills to resolve customer issues before...
