Revisited, food was perfect and amazing. Original review below
Got a condensed version of last time, all the major issues I noticed were gone and everything was amazing. Literally not a single complaint this time, 5/5
Original review: Got takeout, 9.8 on skip, it should be lower.
Ordered pad Thai, yellow curry, coconut rice, spring rolls, and roti. Issues with most items, but all had positives.
I'll start with the bad, this is pretty big stuff, but there's lots of good I'll get to after, and below.
First, is the sauces. We ordered extra (3) peanut sauce, and we received a whole bunch of sauces. Quantity was ample, and I should have ordered less. I thought they would be smaller based on price. HOWEVER, I don't know what any of it was... We received several additional sauces which we couldn't really identify.
What we believe to be the peanut sauce was a decent consistency, but had no flavor. It tasted like slightly runny peanut butter, and that's it. Sauce 2 looked the same, but slightly darker, and had a distinctly wine/beer/rum smell to it. We could not figure out what this was, what it was for, and did not enjoy it. The sauce (3) that came with the roti was very runny, but again looked like peanut sauce. This had a good taste, but was ridiculously spicy. We wondered if we were intended to combine this with the bland peanut sauce. There was also a thin clear brown sauce for the satay with cucumbers floating in it, which was good, and a (too) runny red chili sauce for the spring rolls. This sauce was delicious other than being thin. Labeling containers would go a long way
Most of the sauces went straight into the garbage.
The yellow curry was described as "Curry dish with your choice of meat stewed in coconut milk with potatoes, onions, herbs, and a spicy yellow curry paste".
I picked this because of my life for massaman curry, and the potatoes. I was sorely disappointed that there were no potatoes to be found in this curry. The rest of the description of the curry was accurate, and quite flavorful. I was also surprised that the curry container had almost seemingly been filled to the brim first with the solids, meat and veggies, then topped off with the liquid of the curry. This results in more actual food by proportion than most Thai restaurants.
The coconut rice that accompanied the curry was properly cooked, but had almost no coconut scent or taste. We smelled and tasted several times before agreeing that it was in fact coconut rice, but better described as rice made next to someone talking about coconuts.
Now for the good!
The pad Thai was delicious. It wasn't fully mixed, having some of the noodles still white without sauce, but the quantity of sauce required was fine. I didn't eat this until it was leftovers, and heating it up in a frying pan resulted in everything being coated evenly. Without question, I would eat this pad Thai again.
The curry it's self. It was amazing, except for the fact it was missing the potatoes. The one thing I really wanted. There was ample proportions of chicken and onions, which had a nice fresh crunch to them. Without question, I would order this again, if I wanted a curry without potatoes.
The roti. The sauce was watery, and I will nitpick that the roti was slightly greasy; but otherwise delicious! The sauce was really runny and didn't stick to the greasy roti well, but you could also only use a small amount as it was very spicy. The roti dipped in the cucumber concoction for the satay was quite good too.
The spring rolls were awesome. They had gotten slightly soggy in the middle by the time they were delivered, but the ends were nice and crispy. Filling was delicious, and the red sauce though also runny, was also delicious.
The chicken satay. It has a mild breading on it that I was not expecting, it was nice, the flavor...

Ordered via Uber Eats. It was quick but sometimes that’s a red flag in itself.
We are at a hotel. They didn’t send any cutlery or napkins which is just common sense.
Next there was no soya sauce. And worst of all - NO RICE !
My husband had to go to a restaurant close by to get a side of rice and some soya sauce.
After paying over 70$ this is unacceptable.
All this aside, we were hoping the food would be good.
Our order was Beef Thai Salad, Ginger Beef, Green Curry with Chicken & Satay Chicken Skewers.
They also had a promo for 4 Free Spring Rolls with a 40$ purchase, they turned out to be the only thing edible.
I had asked for no onions (huge allergies) and not too spicy.
The beef salad had no onions, but also zero flavour on the beef. The lettuce had some lime but not any flavour.
It was a few cucumbers and lots of bland unseasoned beef.
Is super hot chili flakes the only option here ?
It looked like the beef should of been really good, but it was like they had washed the beef off completely of anything.
The chicken skewers were big but they seemed to be really fatty with gristle - the meat wasn’t certainly chicken breast.
Even the peanut sauce seemed off. I ate a few bites and spit it out.
The ginger beef was a large order. They sent the sauce on the side. Again the meat was super low quality. Lots of gristle etc. Couldn’t eat it.
My husband didnt mind his green curry, but was less than thrilled about it not coming with any rice !! It too was of poor meat quality.
It all smelled quite bad . All in all was so very disappointed .
Would never order from here nor recommend.

Last year new owners took over and couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly. Derek is often helping in the kitchen, his wife busy with restaurant duties and front of house Tina, Christy or the young man (whose name escapes me) offers excellent service. Delivery is done by the restaurant if Derek is there, otherwise Skip, Doordash and Ubereats deliver.
This last visit we were treated to a Crispy Fish dish not on the menu that the owner enjoys as well as a mug of Chinese tea he likes…..not sweet like the house-blend tea.
We always custom order Spicy Green Beans in Garlic Sauce (no soya sauce or added MSG) and the Red Curry with Prawns was delicious.
I would say the portions have gotten larger with the change of ownership and Tina will tell us we’ve ordered enough but we all like the leftovers.
This is our go to place for Cantonese-style Chinese food.
Frequent customers to this somewhat hidden gem. Medium sized restaurant can fill up at times so we tend to go earlier to avoid the rush as take-out and skip the dishes orders can slow things down. Service is excellent and friendly and being regulars they also know my dietary restrictions. Dishes are vegan friendly upon request. Prices are reasonable. Parking in front is limited but more parking is available just a short walk away in same complex.
Update Nov. 2021)- Vaccine passport and mask protocol in place. Has re-opened to dine-in guests but if busy, they may advise a wait for kitchen to catch up. Server Phyllis is excellent and friendly, manager...
