Freshslice Pizza — Restaurant in Delta

Hello everyone, Just wanted to share bad service experience I had at Freshslice Scott Rd Delta at scott road and 72. I went there at 7:30 and ordered 3 slices of pizza 1 cheese and 2 slices of butter chicken. As I ordered, he was about to put the slices to reheat them. I saw fresh Pizzas were coming out I confirmed that if they were butter chicken and cheese pizza and he said yes. I requested him to give the slices from fresh pizza he nodded his head but still put the old slices in the oven as well. When the pizza was ready he took the old slices and then put it near to the fresh slices and tuned to other side so I can’t see anything. Closed the box and gave it to me when I looked the new butter chicken pizza was not even cut and cheese pizza was cut ( I am not sure if he even put even cheese slices in or not his back was towards me but definitely he did not put the butter chicken one as the pizza was not even cut) but when he was giving me the box I asked him if he put the fresh slices in and he said yes. I pointed at the butter chicken pizza and said that is not even cut then he goes to me “ oh you wanted all 3 fresh slices “ I said “ yes please “ then he goes I have already closed the box and cannot do it. I said if you are gonna provide service like that I am never ordering food from you. He said “up to you I have already put it in a box and can’t change it “. I'm so disappointed with this fresh slice location. Placed an order for delivery but it was clear that they had no idea how to handle it. I had already paid for delivery and left quite a good tip, yet the staff seemed completely unsure about what to do with the order. It caused a lot of unnecessary stress. It was my child's birthday and we were ordering the pizza for the children at her day care, hence it had to be delivered on time as the day care has a specific lunch time. After making 5-6 phone calls trying to sort things out, I finally told my husband would come and pick it up instead as I couldn't find get a solution from the staff, who had no idea at all. I called to confirm not to send it through any driver, as my husband was already on the way. I got a call from another lady after that saying that it will be delivered, and I specifically said not to deliver and that we will come pick up. My husband went there - only for him to arrive and find out the order has already been picked up by someone else. He had to leave work in the middle of the day just to deal with this which defeats the whole purpose of delivery in the first place.

Poor service. I had worse experience today at this location. I am their customer for more than 10 years. I ordered 2 pizzas at 11:30 and told them, I will pick up at 11:55. When I went for pick and she didn’t make my order and she was chatting on phone and I waited 10 minutes for her call to end and she said oh I am going to prepare your order now. I had to drop lunch at school. I couldn’t make it to school on time and My son stayed hungry. They don’t care about time management and taking any order seriously. They refuse to provide owner’s number to complain 🙁🙁🙁🙁I hope owner will read this message and trained them accordingly Canadian standards to deal with customer and prepare order on time.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 Wow !
