Kelly's Pub — Restaurant in Surrey

We just ordered on SkiptheDishes about an hour ago because I had a credit - Maui burger with onion rings and the spinach dip for me, samosa and kalamari for the partner.

Partner was expecting one big samosa because it just says "samosa"; instead he got three decent sized samosaS and was pleasantly surprised. Great flavour and the chutney is perfect. Kalamari was still crispy enough that it only needed a minute or two in the toaster oven to get back to fresh out of the kitchen status. He was pretty happy.

Maui burger was really good, I always love teriyaki and pineapple on a burger, and the onion rings didnt even need a crisp up, they were basically perfect. Spinach dip is excellent, lots of flavour (love the tomato and green onion for texture!). My only suggestion is going half and half bread with chips instead of just chips - I love my old hometown pub and those are big shoes to fill but that would bump the spinach dip up to 6 google stars status. I'd even be okay with a price increase to accommodate the different textures. Big portion too, so I have tonnes for tomorrow. Only thing I didn't care for was the side of chipotle mayo i ordered for the onion rings. It just seemed a bit too vinegary? Or something?

In any case, the food was excellent, arrived mostly kitchen fresh after the 20ish minute drive, and tasted really good and even without my coupon, the prices were incredibly reasonable; probably our favourite Skip order we've made in months. We're so tired of pizza and sushi and good pub food is sparse on Skip so this was a pleasant surprise. We're so happy we both googled the address independently of each other so we can pay an in-person visit in the near future. Thanks Kelly's for such a good meal on what was surely a busy night...

Terrible and unprofessional staff. I suppose I should say BARTENDER. Came here for karaoke, and was being the DD for a few friends. When in the washroom, a fight broke out, and a woman (clearly a regular of theirs) began to attack my friend for no reason. She gave my friend a bleeding nose, and neither her nor us reltaliated in any sense, we peacefully left the washroom.

After this, once outside, I approached the bartender and told him the story of what had just happened and that the violent woman was still sitting and being served at his bar, and he shrugged it off and replied with "Do you need a shot dear" in a condecending tone. He then continued to go inside and sing karaoke while serving this woman MORE alcohol, as she continued to be voilent with ANOTHER bar patron after he had tried to hold her back.

This is not good managment, it is improper care for customers and it is rude and unacceptable. If you choose to accept and reward that kind of behaviour, beleive me, I will be telling everyone I know about how you people run the bar...

Last night Kelly's pub hosted my father-in-laws birthday and it was amazing! The staff were all wonderful, friendly and attentive. Our server was constantly making sure our needy group was all good and kept a smile on her face the whole night, I believe her name was jax. The drinks are super reasonably priced unlike most places in surrey/delta now a days. I was DD so no drinks for me but my boyfriend sure got his fair share haha. The karaoke was such a blast good and bad but everyone was a good sport. And big shout out to the kitchen staff for the DELICIOUS food! My fish and chips was on point! Not at all greasy, perfect batter and the chips were to die for.... I could eat them all day long. Everyone at our table had nothing but awesome things to say about their food. If you are going on for appies, order the deep fried pickles... trust me! All in all had a wonderful night and Kelly's pub blew our expectations out of the water. We will absolutely be returning!
