Nando's PERi-PERi — Restaurant in Surrey

I love Nandos just like everyone else. However, This is one of my least favourite nandos locations. I frequently come back because it's the only one around and I always hope it's improved but it never does. The inside is clean and the staff are friendly but that's really where the good ends. The take out orders are so slow; everytime we get there to pick up our order (after the 20min wait they give us) the chicken is ready and sitting there but they are just starting the potatoe wedges as we walk in the door. We then need to wait another 10min on top of the estimated 20min by this time our chicken is cold as it's just been sitting there.

The chicken has been over cooked everytime we order it but at least the delicious peri peri sauce makes it edible. After all that waiting for potato wedges they often aren't even very good, half the time they are soggy and under seasoned it doesn't seem like they were made fresh despite the extra wait for them.

I frequently like to order the peri peri chicken sandwich but at this location it's always a disappointment the chicken breast is always very small and thin and of course over cooked. It looks unappetizing if you lift up the bun. I often leave almost 50% of my bun behind because there's no chicken to eat with it ; not that you can really taste the chicken in the first place since it's so thin.

We've tried eating in store to see if this would improve things but the chicken was still sad and overcooked, the service still a bit slow. They brought out the chicken and the chicken sandwich a good 5-10min before our potato wedges suggesting that timing issues aren't just limited to take out. Because of this the plates looked large and empty and not very appealing without the sides included on them.

I'll keep ordering because we don't have another choice for Nandos nearby but I wish they would...

Always consistent at this location! Chicken is always juicy! This place rocks since the renovations. A bit pricey but I never leave unhappy!

Early Narch 2019

So after a year at this location. I'm finding a lack of consistency. I walk in here and right away it seems we got some lost people here.

A bunch of tables haven't been changed over the while time I'm here yet it's empty with 2 coldc and 2 hosts. All 4 joking around having fun yet not being attentive to the dining room but rather play on the pass.

Definitely not a good representation of this great place. I just removed a 🌟. I should remove 2 but the food is good.

After eating. We still enjoyed our food. However, no quality control or even a follow up. Still more horsing around. Texting on phone. The main usual girl was working hard while the other clearly doesn't take hey job seriously.

I can see this becoming the norm. If I was the owner I would definitely have around and nip this in the butt asap !!!

Decided to give this location one last time. Since our last visit we weren't happy with service and surroundings. Today on the other hand was perfect. The service assistants were friendly and on point. We had don't minor issue with the for and they corrected it right away. This Filipina supervisor is a perfect addition to this location. Went with my boyfriend the other night for dinner. Ordered the half chicken, and 2 sides. For over 20$, you'd imagine ALL the chicken you would receive would be edible right? Well no. This is is half of our chicken looked like! That's not even worth money, and of course we couldn't eat that. Not the front end peoples fault, but sad you'd cut this and put it on someone's plate. I left feeling so upset that I spent my money night out with my bf on some chicken bones. 2 stars for the fries.

This man also came in without a mask, keeping his distance from everyone else. When the evening supervisor asked him 3 times why he wasn't wearing one, he said each time he is exempt. She kept asking louder and louder and the poor man was clearly being embarrassed. I could hear his answers on the other side of the restaurant.... how could she possibly not hear him 5 feet away. She was so rude, and obviously was trying to embarrass the man. I won't ever be back. I also work across the street at save on foods and will be sharing...
