I was excited to come here for my son's birthday as his favourite thing to eat is "soupy noodles"
We ordered the braised beef noodle soup, the house signature lamb and the crispy pork.
The broth for the lamb soup was delicious, clean, peppery and fragrant. Good amount of lamb that didn't taste gamey.
The Braised beef was OK, usually it's our go-to, but we surprisingly preferred the lamb soup.
The crispy pork was the complete opposite of crispy. I believed it was probably deep fried and then steamed or braised afterwards. The flavor of the spice combination was interesting and flavourful and turned out to be my son's favourite dish, just the texture was completely different than what we expected.
Atmosphere was nice, it's bright, clean and inviting, even the washroom was very clean.
The service however is where we felt the establishment was lacking. We were a party of 4, coming in around 4:30pm, so not during busy time. we ordered and even after the our first dish arrived, we only had cutlery servings for a party of 2, no water or tea was offered or brought to the table and we had no bowls. I called for our server who either didn't hear us or just didn't respond until another staff asked us what we wanted and our original server mumbled something and then just walked away, waiting for the other server to get us water, bowls and cutlery.
TLDR: lamb noodles tasty, service, not so...
Read moreCame here around lunch, two people, ordered two of the same type of noodle dish with one shareable dish so three in total. Then other tables arrived and placed their orders after us. Our shareable came first then one of the noodle bowls came. During the wait all of the other tables received all of their orders, which also had noodle bowls. We did ask about the second bowl of noodles just to make sure it was coming and the waitress said yes. As the first bowl of noodles was about to be finished we managed to ask about the status of the second bowl to which the waitress said it was now ready, 40 mins after the order was originally placed. I didn’t want to create a scene in the restaurant so as the waitress finally brought the second bowl of noodles to our table we asked for the bill, payed WITHOUT tip, and left. Will...

As a Henan province people, this noodle is lovely and tasty. It is normally a bit tougher than other noodles such as ramen and Lanzhou pulled noodles. And the soup is made of beef or lamb plus other Chinese herbs depending on your choice. The service is awesome, I was chatting with the server and they are all very friendly! Overall very good! Strongly recommend to try...
