I came here in August to pick up a TooGoodToGo order from â6ix Tacosâ. I was shocked to see this wasnât actually a taco store. But ok. Typically when you pick up a Too Good To Go order, the order is waiting for you. Or the staff will put together some items in a bag so you can take them home. The idea of the app is to prevent food waste by offering leftover food at the end of the day at a discount. So I was surprised when they told me that my order wasnât ready yet and that itâd take 10 minutes. I waited the 10 minutes which ended up being closer to 15. There were 2 tacos and I was told (as listed on the TG2G app the value of this was $24 and that I was getting it for a STEAL at $6.99) the meat wasnât seasoned at all so i couldnât get the taste of plain ground beef out of my mouth as I tried to eat the soggy beef juice tacos (bonus: Doritos, soon beef juice covered, thrown in on the side)
I donât know which part of this experience was the most egregious: the neon colour splattered walls of this establishment, the mouthfuls of ground beef juice I consumed that night, or the fact that this ghost kitchen taco shop is using a sustainable food waste app as a platform to blatantly lie to...

The door was open, so anyone with half clue could see this was my destination. I repeatedly tried to get the attention of the young woman at the counter, but was just ignored. I spent half an hour trying to get service as she stood, leaning on them counter and chatting with customers and as new people stepped around me to access the store.
In tÄ„e enÌd, a customer who was leaving brought me to her attention and was finally allowed to pick up my order.
While the food was good, I won't waste my...
