I was ordering food to a friend's apartment building and put instructions to have the driver call when he arrives so I can come meet him. The apartment number I put was the wrong one (my fault). He called when he arrived and I told him I would be right there.

When I got to the front of the building I called the driver 3 times and he didn't pick up so I went back to the apartment. He called me back and told me he was downstairs so I went back to meet him.

When I got to the front of the building he started screaming at me on the street because I had put the wrong apartment, refused to give me my food and just continued to yell at me. I asked him repeatedly to stop yelling and to give me my food and he refused. It wasn't until i called the restaurant in front of him to inform them what was happening that finally he gave it to me.

Terrible customer service from the driver and the manager who I spoke to as she heard the driver screaming at me but told me she couldn't do anything because she needed to hear his side of the story.

A driver should never yell at a customer like that, especially over a simple mistake.

I will never order from this restaurant again.

edit

Now the manager is lying and saying that the driver "did speak a little loud" because he woke up an elderly lady and that I made him wait 20 mins.

The manager who replied, as well as other residents of the building heard the driver YELLING at me.

The driver called me at 7:07. I then called him 3 times and he didn't answer. He finally called me back at 7:14 and I met him. So that's 7 mins - not 20 minutes like they're claiming.

And even if he had mistakenly woken someone, that is NO EXCUSE to yell and berate a customer.

Appalling customer service all around. I will be telling all my friends and family in the beaches about...

As someone who has had dim sum multiple times I went into this with low expectations because for 13.99$ all you can eat dim sum sounds a bit sketchy if you know what I mean. I was expecting a solid 6 or 7 out of ten but it was more of a 3 or 4 out of ten. The food was decent, not great but not bad. There was a limited selection of foods ranging from different dumplings, fried rice and noodles and different dim sum items and for some reason there were chicken wings? Most of the things were room temperature at best which kind of took away from the satisfaction. This could have something to do with the fact that the heaters under the trays weren't even on 🤨. Our server that seemed to be the only server there at the time was nice but we saw her about maybe twice the whole time we were there and she just disappeared into the back the whole time. When my dad wanted a drink there was no one there to get him one. My dad got up from his seat and tried to get someone's attention but still no response, I think a search party might have been needed. I'm sure that when it's more busy and for those who aren't getting the buffet that service and food is much better. The atmosphere was probably the best part of this even though there were no people there, no music at all, or barely any staff, but it was nice and sunny inside and the design of the building was nice. Overall, I would not recommend coming here for the buffet, but if you have no other options it's not that bad and maybe bring...

Worst customer service and terrible food! Avoid at all costs!! Yesterday I called them at 3:15pm, placed an order to be delivered at 5:45pm. I call them at 5:50pm to see where the food is, and speak to some rude girl, who put me on hold for 8 minutes and I can hear helping other customers. When we finally talk, I am upset and she tells me that they are very busy (Chinese New Year) and the food is on the way. She lied. 20 minutes later, I go to the restaurant (I have 3 kids under the age of 5 waiting for their dinner) to see if the food is there and again, she lies, telling me that the food will be at my house at any moment. I see a man inside wearing no mask, who ends up being the man who delivers my food 30 minutes later (a total of 1 hour late), meaning my food hadn't been cooked when I was there. The food was sub par, especially the higher priced items like the beef (super tough and fatty) and scallops. I would never order from this establishment again, as they don't value honesty or...

I can only hope this was a bad night for these guys, but I’ll tell you, my meal was horrible. The Shrimp Pad Thai did not taste like Pad Thai at all. It had spaghetti noodles instead of flat rice noodles, rubbery, overcooked shrimp and it barely tasted of tamarind. The dish had a weird orange colour instead of the rich brownish colouring of a nice tamarind sauce. It also tasted as if it had been sitting on a counter for hours before it was delivered to an unsuspecting customer…me. The chicken balls were heavy, laden with grease and tough. Inedible. I’ve ordered from here several times before with good results of fine Chinese food. This experience has put me off trying 955 again anytime soon. I think I’ll go back to my old place, Eden, and give them a shot at regaining my patronage, even though they can be hit or miss sometimes too. If anyone has a solution for good Chinese delivery in the Leslieville/Riverside/Beach area, please leave me a comment.

I called them up on October 7th late afternoon to make reservations for October 9th and they said they will be open on that day and will reserve for my 8 person party. When I showed up the restaurant was closed with a sign saying they are taking a day off for Oct 9th and Oct 10 for Thanksgiving. Would have been nice if they would have let me know about it rather than have me and my friends come from all around GTA to waste our time and travel expenses. We ended up scrambling to find an alternative plan which ended up with our group breaking up into smaller groups and headed to different restaurants. Very disappointed by the service here.

We ordered from them completely on impulse and on a whim when we found their brochure in our mailbox. Best decision we've made! We took the risk and ordered their scallops and lobster and holy, it was amazing. It was fresh, flavorful and it was cooked perfectly (not under or over)! They delivered efficiently! The manager and the girl who took my order was so sweet! Love love love this establishment and I've only ordered once! We will be back for sure!! Highly recommend. Their food is just Good and authentic. I'm an immigrant from Malaysia and food is comparable to what I have back home!!!!
