Greetings, fellow food enthusiasts!
On February 25, 2025, around 7:45 PM, my wife, two daughters, and I stopped by A&W for dinner.
When we arrived, the place was nearly empty, save for three people tucked away in a corner near the entrance. One having coffee while the other two shared a Subway meal.
We settled at a table near the counter, and I approached the register where a female staff member stood. She gestured for me to hold on as she finished a phone call while working the register.
Once she was done, I placed our order: 2X Chicken Buddy Burger Combos with onions and cheddar cheese, served with fries and Coke. 1X Spicy Chicken Burger with onions and cheddar cheese. 1X Spicy Chicken Burger Combo with onions, root beer, and onion rings.
When the food arrived, my kids pointed the Chicken Buddy Burgers were missing cheese. I immediately brought them back, and a male staff member from the kitchen simply added cold cheese slices and returned them—no apology from him or the female staff who was watching him. It was frustrating, and the kids were disappointed since the cheese didn’t melt into the burgers.
As we were having our food, one of the men near the entrance who was sipping coffee began shouting at another to leave him alone. It seemed they were sheltering inside and appeared intoxicated.
This left us feeling uneasy and unsafe, especially with the kids. We wished there’d been some security presence. Hungry as they were, we encouraged the kids to eat quickly so we could leave.
Despite the issues, the food itself was impressive. The burgers were beautifully packed and perfectly cooked. The patties were juicy, tender, with a crispy exterior and piping hot center. The buns were soft, springy, warm, and fragrant. The spices in the sauce and the patty complemented the chicken and bun without overwhelming them.
The French fries were a golden delight—crisp outside, soft inside, with that comforting, fresh-fried potato aroma and flavor.
The onion rings, a family favorite, lived up to expectations: golden-brown, crispy outer layer, with a sweet, juicy core.
The drinks were spot-on—chilled to the right temperature and refreshingly fizzy.
We spent $53.26, including tax, and despite the hiccups with service and security, I’d say the quality of the food made it worth the price. I will certainly avoid and would not recommend this location for dine-in unless the owner of the establishment employs security personal.
I would like to thank everyone who invested their time to read this review.

Read moreI had to check my phone a few times to make sure its not April 1st because they had me good 😂😂. Took my $47 and played a prank on me.
Bought chicken strips that looked like nuggets.
The burgers looked and taste like a kid made it in a dusty garage. Bread soaked with ketchup or mayo I guess, I really don’t know what was put on it. Lets not even mention how aged the vegetables looked.
The portions tooo🤦🏽♂️ Looks like they gathered the bits of food that fell from someone’s plate. Have a look at the pictures and tell me wth is that.
If you have ever had hospital food just picture the worst meal you’ve ever had there and decreased the quality by 300% and you’d have a slight understanding of the food I had.
Did I mention that had it not been for the packaging i would not have known that the food came from A&W at all.
I refuse to think there is any Quality control at all there.
This is just a short summary of it all.
By far thee worst food I’ve had in my...
Read moreI am writing this comment because of the bad experience here, one of their crew treated me terribly or not professionally. The front counter didn’t give me the receipt but I found a sticker on the wall says I can share my experience on Map. So I am doing it.
I went here during night time. The front counter needs more training. When she served my food. She shouted at me said “You!”
I came here mainly for the Christmas deal - get $25 gift card and receive a free coupon. I told her I wanted the gift card but she immediately forgot after placed food order. Later she told me they didn’t have the coupon.
I don’t know if it’s because I feel mad about didn’t get the coupon or I feel I have been shouted at. Anyways it’s a terrible experience for me and I am glad I didn’t get the gift card.
How was my food? Their beef patty is a little bit raw, I can sense a smell of the raw beef
I enjoyed my last tome with my friend, so I assume some of crew...
