Tinnels West Jamaican Cuisine — Restaurant in Toronto

Generally, I do not care to write reviews but I could no longer hold this one in. Tinnels has been my favorite patty shop for years. I frequent this and the Brampton location cos I feel they are one of the best patty shops in the GTA. I just want to say that young girl -the one who had the baby girl 3 years ago- has one of the nastiest attitude I've even seen in customer service in all my years of going to this place. I remember when she just came, it appeared she was a recent immigrant so I really gave her grace but her nasty attitude never improved in all the years. Before visiting Tinnels, I had only had store bought ones which were sub par to what I was about to experience.

I want to start by telling you I had arrived at Pearson Airport and knew instantly I was going to take my colleagues to have their first Jamaican Patty. The first place that popped up was Tinnels, so we headed down (out of the way) to finally have my first fresh taste of Jamaica.

We ordered the spicy Jamaican patties, some coco bread and our first bite was put of this world! Fresh, hot and tasty filling was just what we needed after a long flight. The food and the patties might be good but it's not good enough to tolerate horrible customer service. The girls that works at this location act as if you come in there to beg for scraps and not spend your money. My cousin asked one of the girls to warm her bread and that was met by rolling eyes and the kissing of teeth. I had to ask her if it was a bother or if she was having a bad day. The other 2 ladies just gathered around and not offer an apology or nothing. I would suggest that you spend your money elsewhere because this place is not worth getting disrespected or being uncomfortable when spending your hard...
