Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Ordered a plain bagel w/ cream cheese for my daughter & bagel & lox for myself. Checked my order as we were walking away & noticed I got two cream cheese bagels. Rather than just adding the lox on mine, I was told they couldn’t re-serve it, took it away & said my bagel & lox would be right out. It didn’t come right out & I was charged again for the new order. When asked why I was being charged again I was told it’s because I was getting a third bagel. I said I already paid for this bagel but was given the wrong order. The manager gets called & I have to tell my story all over again. He looks confused as if there was no problem. He goes away & I’m waiting for either a refund or another bagel. The cashier calls back to the manager, “He’s still here & I don’t know what to do.” Like I was the problem?? The manager returns and says, “What do you want?” (Rude). I reiterate that I need a refund or another bagel w/cream cheese that they took away & threw out. Manager responds with, “So if I give you another bagel w/ cream cheese, you’ll go away & let the line through?” My jaw hits the floor like I’m the problem?? Needless to say today was the last day I patronized...

It was my first time there. I am sure their items are yummy,😋 but I did not have the opportunity to find out. As I asked for a very well done, super crispy, just before burn,🙄 bagel. I asked the gentleman if that was possible??? He said yes. I reiterated how much I don't like soft bread. I really like my bread crispy hard. The gentleman taking the order, assured me that for sure that can happen and that it would be redone,if it was not done they way I wanted. It was brough to me (outdoor sitting) and I touched from the outside of the bag and opened it, was super soft, it was just toasted,on the surface. I took it to the gentleman at the counter, asked him to touch from the outside. He reaction was not costumer friendly. Asked me what was wrong with it? and went on, then turned to someone inside the place.

What happened to the customer service? What happened to redoing it? I did not want anymore dialog about it. I said it was fine, they can keep it and walked away.

No Bagel,no food and out that $$money, feeling so disappointed 😔

I got their drip coffee,at the same time, got that first. The coffee was very good. Nice and smooth, with a nice...

Love these type of places - a literal hole in the wall place. I think the best food is usually served in these type of restaurants. The only downside, it was raining the day we decided to try this place.

The Vegan Vam - the chickpea egg patty, vegan sausage, Vegan Cheddar Cheeze, and a slightly greasy bagel - what a perfect way to start with this kinda breakfast sandwich. Yum!

The Vegan Macca - A down under special with vegan patty, cheeze, lettuce, onions and pickles - another gem. A perfect breakfast

The Vegan East Coaster - the vegan Donair meat, tomatoes and onions and donair sauce - again it hit the spot. Love all the home made faux meats, rather than take the easy route and serve Beyond/Impossible - this so much better.

The Vegan VLOX - this seemed to be a crowd pleaser. Love the Carrot Lox and Cream Cheeze and onions. Of all the sandwiches this was our least favourite. I guess a little less smoky flavour than expected. A perfect bagel for those looking for something lighter breakfast.

Definitely coming back for more and perhaps try their soups and...

Really disappointing and tiny bagels. People are comparing them to tim Hortons but even Tim’s are bigger. The lox and cream cheese were equally as disappointing as there was barely any. I really have no idea how people are calling this the best bagel in Toronto. And no, they can’t blame inflation. I don’t mind paying more for a good filling bagel, but this is just a steal as it’s definitely not even worth $10. Also no indoor seating, just a hole in the wall. Response to owner: Hahahahahah what a cheap response, I was comparing them to what other reviews were saying. I’d rather save my money and go to schmaltz or lox + schmear. You should be passionate about perfecting your bagels instead of being defensive about honest opinions 🤷🏻‍♀️

We stopped by on a whim for breakfast as we were in the area. This is a cute hole in the wall place that serves bagels. The service was friendly and prompt; I also like how the bagels were well-packaged. The bagels were good but on the pricier side (~$13 including tax and tip per sandwich). Their menu is very vegetarian/vegan friendly. I tried several and really enjoyed the Nicole (PB and Pickles) and the East Coaster (vegan donair). The only complaint I have is that the bagels are on the smaller side and the fillings to bagel ratio is a bit small and the sandwiches were a bit bland as a result. They are also pickup only with no indoor dining option, but they do have some tables out front.
