Staff seems like they need training on food allergies. On Saturday evening we ordered a chicken tenders combo and upgraded the fries to poutine, it was on our end that we assumed that the poutine would be separated from the tenders (as i recall from their menu picture) but when the meal came it was not. The person i was sharing the meal with has allergies to chicken so I politely asked if the poutine could be remade separately, to which the guy annoyingly said “sure” to.

Now, from where we were seated I found him whispering and laughing with his colleague at the window while they were “remaking” our food. I found it odd so I stood up and saw that - HIS colleague was actually not remaking it but putting the chicken in a separate box. At this point i said just please give me a refund.

Another man came running from the back while not fully understanding the situation, started talking about how “but it just touched it, we didn’t cook it with it, that should be okay” seriously have zero ideas about people’s allergies and preferences. Really concerning for somebody handling people’s food.

in the end they didn’t want to refund us so they remade the food which nobody dared eating after all the hassle.

We politely asked for the food to be remade - if it wasn’t possible a simple “NO SORRY” would have been better than saying YES to us but only to laugh and just separate it at the back. Do better - some people actually have really bad reactions to food they’re...

Update from a recent visit: Updated the star rating from a visit today! They have definitely improved their wait times, we got our food within 10 mins and it still tasted amazing. Love the chipotle bacon and Hawaiian burgers. I would avoid the fountain drinks though they taste odd - watered down/added sweetner? Opt for the can if you get a combo. Shout out to Aman - our very friendly and helpful server. The burgers are tasty, however the wait time is ridiculous. It was not busy when we went (11:30am), but we waited 15 mins before we could place an order (there was only one group ahead of us) but the cashier was slow. And after placing the order, we waited 1/2 an hour until we got our food. I actually checked the time on the receipt once we were served - literally 33 minutes later! It was not busy at all, just very very slow service. There were a couple of construction workers who came in just after us and waited as long as we did for their food. Ended up taking their orders to go as lunch time was up. 45 mins till you get your food at a burger joint really doesn't make sense. This place was my 10 year old daughters most favorite.. Their burgers are so good that my daughter one day told me if she has Boardwalk cheese burger she doesnot need anything else to eat. I used to always Uber Eats them for delivery But today, we came here to dine in and the person in the front desk was incredibly rude. When we told him what I wanted to eat he didn't ask me if I wanted anything else with the burger, I told him "sorry could I please add a milk shake with the order". He looked at the pos system with a sigh and rolling eyes with a tone that made me really uncomfortable.. he said " sure " and added the shake in my order. It went downward since then. The shake was given to my daughter doesnot at all look like the shake that was pictured. When I asked him he said, the picture is misleading!!! And then he added some whipped cream as I requested. My daughter said it was not at all dubai fudge brownie shake. It's just a plain chocolate shake. I am adding pictures. After that when I was leaving I saw the cheese burgers are on a deal on Tuesday with $2 off. But I was charged full amount. I was not in a mood to ho and ask the manager.
