No glamor to the atmosphere. Basic “sit down and we’ll feed you” vibe. We first chanced this place over 3 years ago and were pleasantly surprised with their quality. Once dine-in was possible, we’ve returned over and over for any special occasion to eat Indian food. Their breads are excellent - fluffy, fresh and dough is so tasty. Aloo paratha and kulchas are tasty but their tandoori roti is a personal favorite. Butter chicken, malai kofta are Rich and creamy - kids love it! We’ve tried their paneer lababdaar which was good alternate for non tomato dishes. Momos are nice but they take a long time to serve those. Biryani is not their strength! Love their dal makhani, Gobhi masala and paneer tikka masala for vegetarian options. Boti kebabs were lamb and fresh Staff are very courteous and they oblige to our requirements. I feel they’re very stretched between their numerous UberEat orders and catering to the dine-in customers. Management should try to train them and get a better system in place. I also truly deeply wish Indian restaurants in Canada would pay more attention to cleanliness and hygiene in washrooms. Again, the management can design their interiors in back end better so that the washroom area is kept better. The floors are slippery and they have a filthy curtain out there.

I used to be a fan. But I guess this restaurant has now met its demise too from either new ownership/inflation or maybe both. I ordered paneer chilli X2, 5 garlic naan and butter chicken. My paneer chilli was not paneer chilli and it was swimming in watery Hakka sauce, which is disgusting. Secondly, the butter chicken sauce was not flavourful and pretty bland and only had a handful of chicken pieces in it. The naans have significantly reduced in size, they used to be so much bigger, yet this restaurant increased the prices. Why do you all have always change what was good to begin with? This used to be a favourite spot of mine but since they got rid of the spicy sauce for the paneer chilly, and started reducing the sizes of the naans which is CRAZY when you are charging $4 , i will have to stop giving this shop my business. Please bring the old owners and staff back. I can tell this place has changed for the worst. Staff member told me that paneer chilli is in the hakka menu which changed 5 months ago, which doesn’t make sense but I did not order the dish from the Hakka menu, it was ordered from the starters menu. Paneer chilli or chilli paneer should not be made in a brown Hakka soy sauce. Please bring back the old paneer chilli

This review is based on dine and home delivery. This is my second time with this restaurant. It was as good as first time. In our first visit we ordered quite a bit and everything was amazing, especially the chicken momo. This time we ordered Chicken Sandeko, which is my personal favorite crispy and spicy. Also ordered club korma which came with the naan. The gravy was delicious ,nice and creamy and not spicy at all ( though I would have loved If it was spicy) but I found the chicken chunks a bit bland, it was like they were boiled and just added to the perfect gravy ,so my suggestion would be to either use malai tikka style chicken pieces or something else of your own choice but it should not taste bland as it spoils the perfect gravy. The Naan was quite big and should be enough for one person. Overall the quantity was good, the presentation was nice and it tasted well. It's certainly one of the recommended restaurants for Indian food. Another thing I would like to add is their customer service. I am sorry for not remembering the name but the girl who served us was amazing when we visited the place last time. She not only gave us suggestions on what to eat but was very polite and had a smile on her face at all time.

I love spice club, the food is great. Some dishes aren’t full when you order take out (butter chicken) but it’s still delicious so we keep ordering!

However their customer service is something to be desired. We ordered take out yesterday and when we went to pick up the order they had forgotten a main entree. Now we had ordered a lot for a ton of people, but it was a small annoyance.

When we were originally picking up the woman at the counter ignored us. Looking past us as though she was looking outside. Finally we approached the counter and it was like she registered we were there by the third hello.

When we got home we discovered the missing food. I called, and was promptly answered, but the woman was giggling and clearly not listening to me. I asked if we could come get the entree and they said yes. But I had to ask twice when it would be ready, she wasn’t listening and I had to explain it several times over.

So we go to pick it up, now almost two hours after ordering. I go in alone, am being looked past again, but I didn’t wait I went up and explained that I had called about missing food. All three women just stared at me. They literally didn’t say anything for a pregnant pause. So I was like hello? I would like to pick up my food. They kept staring and said it again, missing a dish.. called. They finally asked for the name and that they would go get it. Came back with it (with the wrong side dish).

No apology, no offer for discount, no explanation. Pretty disappointed. And I knew they understood me, they were speaking English to each other so I knew that that was not the issue, which I had considered.

Staff needs to be taught customer service.

TL;DR: was ignored when picking up food, they missed entree, and poor customer...

The Spice Club restaurant is a hidden gem that truly delivers on flavor and quality. From the moment i step inside, I am greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes that are sure to please any palate, but the real standout is the food itself. The dishes are bursting with flavor, each bite a tantalizing explosion of spices and aromas.

One of the standout dishes at the Spice Club is the lamb curry. The lamb is incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, and the curry sauce itself is rich and complex, with layers of flavor that leave you wanting more. Another must-try dish is the chicken tikka masala. The chicken is perfectly cooked and the sauce is creamy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The vegetarian options at the Spice Club are also excellent. The paneer makhani, a dish made with homemade cheese cooked in a tomato-based sauce, is a vegetarian delight. The sauce is tangy and sweet, with just the right amount of spices to balance the flavors, The service at the Spice Club is top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to answer any questions you may have about the menu. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home, if you're looking for a delicious Indian meal with excellent service, the Spice Club is definitely...

Posting one month late. This is for the order I placed on April 12. I am a regular at this place and my usual order is lamb curry and Naan. I ordered a take away in March and when I got back home, there were just 3 to 4 tinay pieces of lamb in the curry, it was stake and runny. I called the restaurant at 6 & person said that she will talk to Manager & get back to me. She called back at 8 & asked me to take a fresh curry but I was done qith teh dinner hy then and she confirmed that I could come and pick it anyday in future and that she will make a note of the same. I called in Apr 12, explained the scenario & after a long hold the lady on the phone refused to honor. After a long discussion, she agreed to get the curry done and said, this comes with No Naan. I was zapped, how else did she expect me to eat the curry with. She was rude and reluctantly agreed to give 1 Naan with it and I felt like she was doing a BIG favor by honoring the word their team gave for an unpalatable food delivered in the past. I picked the curry, brought it home and it was extremely extremely high in salt that no one could eat it. I had specifically requested for Naan to be soft and it was hard and burnt. I bet, the team intentionally did it because they did not want to honor their own commitment and did not believe it either. I will not return again and they for sure have lost a...
