Dear restaurant manager,
I hope this message finds you well. I recently visited your establishment on April 16,2024 around 7:20 AM, where I had the opportunity to enjoy your almond milkshake.
I am writing to express a concern I encountered regarding the ingredients used in the preparation of the almond milkshake. Upon tasting the beverage, I noticed a discrepancy between the flavor and what I anticipated based on your menu description. It is my understanding that your menu advertises the use of natural ingredients, including almonds and milk.
However, upon inquiry with the server, I learned that the almond milkshake was prepared using a flavored almond mix in combination with regular milk. As a loyal customer of your restaurant, I have always appreciated the emphasis on using natural and authentic ingredients in your dishes. Therefore, the use of flavored almond mix instead of natural almonds was unexpected and did not meet my expectations.
Given the discrepancy between the advertised ingredients and those used in the preparation of the almond milkshake, I kindly request clarification on the ingredients typically used in...
Read moreDuring my recent trip to Toronto I found myself craving bubble tea. How happy I was to come across this place. The staff was very patient as I asked a few questions and decided on what to order. I ultimately went with a mango watermelon slushie with juice filled lychee pearls (and I was told fresh fruit was used-what!) My only regret, well there are two: not discovering Bobo Tea and juice until my 5th day in Toronto as I was actually on my way out-second regret-not ordering a larger size (I got a small). The combination was absolutely delicious and I found myself disappointed as it dwindled with each sip. Bobo Tea is now on my to go to list the next time I'm in Toronto which sadly won't be for another year. But I'll be wiser and order a larger size and make sure I visit...
Read moreI just bought two plain milk teas here, one regular (for bf) and one vegan for me (soy milk). As you can see below, the color of mine on the left is much darker and if I observed it correctly soy milk was only used to top off the tea rather than mix it together with stronger tea. I’ve had vegan milk tea in Asia and have also made it myself and this one here really doesn’t have enough milk. Also the only difference between regular and vegan milk tea surely is the type of milk, not the quantity used. The taste of both is ok, but nothing too write home about. I regret writing negative reviews, but I was genuinely surprised at this. I hope this was a one-off and that plant milk will be dished out more...
