Food - This renowned NY pizza joint, marking its debut in Canada, gained widespread attention. The menu boasts a diverse array of pizza types and styles, ranging from spicy options and vegetarian delights to classic choices. Notably, the pizzas avoid excessive greasiness, delivering a satisfying taste. While not reaching extraordinary heights, my friends and I were content with our selections, opting for the Boozy Brone, Original Prince, and the Naughty. Service - Expect lines at this popular spot, reflective of its viral fame. Patience is key, as the wait can be substantial. However, considering the staff's Herculean efforts to navigate the crowds, their friendliness and professionalism shine through. In the midst of the hustle and bustle, they manage to maintain a commendable level of service. Ambiance - The setting exudes a charming "hole in the wall" atmosphere, adorned with pictures showcasing pride in their roots and New York heritage. While lacking in seating, it encourages takeout, with the promise of outdoor seating in the Well during the summer. Picture a classic pizza joint, and that perfectly captures the interior ambiance. Accessibility - Be prepared for tight quarters; enlisting someone else to pick up your order might be the best strategy, given the lengthy lines. The current buzz around this establishment may ease over time, reducing the wait, but for now, be ready for a cramped experience. In conclusion, this pizza place impresses with its diverse menu and reasonable prices. Despite the challenges of long lines and limited space, the overall experience, coupled with the tasty offerings, makes it a worthwhile choice for pizza enthusiasts.

Staff were nice, no wait. Ordered 3 slices, Spicy Spring: undercooked dough - we didn’t finish the slice due to it being inedible (photo of the dough underneath the pepperoni). An unnecessary amount of pepperoni, half of it undercooked. The amount of pep they put on made it impossible for the pizza to cook thoroughly or evenly. Pretty flavourless tomato sauce, no spice, no depth. Spicy Vodka: very enjoyable, loved the sauce and the dough, very happy with this slice and it earns an extra star of my review. A nice lingering spice in this sauce, nothing crazy. Dough was pillowy and cooked evenly. Green Machine: lacks flavour. Pesto looked to be full of garlic which was promising but it really just tasted like non discernible cheese and bread, despite having black olives. Temperature was a factor on this one, we ate it just after stepping out of the store but it was lukewarm, don’t think the slices were warmed up long enough in the oven - the oven is also tiny considering the volume this place does, also a reason for the temperature issues. It’s too bad considering the amount of people who want to eat here, I hope they clean up the quality, consistency, and flavours - quickly. Toronto has exceptional pizza shops that take their food seriously, without relying on the “name” that are much more deserving of the attention. You’re best off to go discover or repeat business elsewhere. I’d start with the lesser discussed spot on Tecumseth which has the best dough & red sauce in the city, along with great staff and some more exciting ingredients and offerings.

As foodies we had to go try Prince Street Pizza and see what all the hype was about!! We went on a Saturday night about 1.5 hours before closing and it only took about 30 mins to get our order in. They have space heaters for those waiting in the cold. Once we were in the store we fell in love with the atmosphere . It has that local pizza shop vibes and you feel as if you were in NY. There is a lot of smoke because of all the ovens so be prepared for that. We got to the front where they have a display of all their flavours. I highly recommend trying slices vs buying one large pizza because you get to try different flavours for around the same price . We tried 4 slices this time: spicy spring, naughty pie, meat lovers and spicy vodka. Our favourite was the naughty pie. The ricotta cheese was a great add on. The naughty pie had so many different flavours attacking our taste buds. What we especially loved about it was the spicy kick that sets in after taking a bite. We will be back just for this slice for sure! Our least favorite was the spicy vodka. We couldn't see or taste the prosciutto. It felt like just a cheese slice . I would go for any of the meat options if you had a choice. Overall great experience and threat location. Parking is available out front , you just have to wait for a spot. Close to the downtown centre. Price is about 6$ a slice and 40$ a box which is okay for premium pizza. End pieces if you like the crunch and centre pieces if you like the soft bite. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

Had the most disappointing experience today - both food and service wise. I never leave negative reviews but we literally could not eat majority of what I paid for.

My girlfriend and I come every once in a while and returned today. We got a meat lovers, naughty pie, and spicy vodka slice. We walked immediately downstairs to the food court and starting eating within 5 minutes after getting our pizza. When we bit into it, it was cold and stale and hard. I powered through the first slice but ultimately could not take how bad it was and decided to take my other slice and half my girlfriend’s to have them heat it up some more. Unfortunately, the girl said they couldn’t since we had eaten out of the box already. Understandable for hygiene reasons; however, how could we have known that the pizza was so poorly prepared without having bitten into it?? When I asked if there was anything else they could do, she looked at the other girl and said “so what do we do…” and the other girl just repeated the same thing. As a customer, I don’t think that I should have to push for a solution to a problem that shouldn’t have occurred in the first place. After the second girl confirmed they couldn’t heat it up, neither of them offered any solution or even faked an apology. The first girl just stared at me and raised her eyebrows as if willing me to leave, which I did.

Never have I encountered such shamelessly unhelpful people with poor attitudes. Not worth paying a premium for this establishment at The Well. Not up to par for any pizza place, much less a place that’s marketed themselves so highly.

We ended up not eating the rest of the pizza since we felt like dogs having to struggle to bite and chew the...
