Booster Juice — Restaurant in Toronto

I generally do not write reviews, but I have to make an exception this time.

I was at the Kingston Road location about a week ago & ordered 2 smoothies & asked for a grilled wrap from their menu. The 2 girls working the counter & kitchen looked at me & discussed amongst themselves in their native language (Gujarati) and told me sorry we are out of ingredients & therefore can't make you one.

I speak the same language - the discussion they had was: It is going to take too long to make the Sun dried Caprese I had just asked for & so to just tell me no we can't make it as the ingredients are not available at this time. Keeping in mind I was the only customer at booster juice at the time & they were not busy at all.

I am not the type of person to confront staff on their habits & customer service especially if they are preparing my food, but please learn to offer decent customer service to paying customers.

Just because you are talking in another language does not mean your customer will not understand the conversation you are having in front of them.

I will not be returning to booster juice in the future if this is how staff works at the...

Edit to this post Feb 20th 2025. I found out the name of the remarkable, caring woman who serves me everyday. Her name is Aya! She knows I take a booster juice to my brother that is in the hospital, and she always asks me how he is. She also makes the best booster juice drinks!! Again, I said it in my original post below, Aya is a keeper, treat her well, she deserves it!!! . .

I have been going into this location every weekday for approximately 5 weeks now and I have to say that the service from the lovely Filipino lady is Exceptional!! She is always pleasant and very professional. This location is always busy when I'm in there, but she makes sure to always ask about my day while never stopping her tasks. She truly is gem. A second pair of hands would be helpful as she is run off her feet. You have a good one there, try to keep her! Good employee's are...

Based on the low ratings for this Booster Juice (Morningside Crossing) location, my opinion is not wrong. This is twice now I have been to this location and the prep for my orders have not been good enough.

first time I ordered a smoothie. By the time I realized, the smoothie was not blended out…I was drinking frozen chunks of spinach & mango. I had driven too far to go back. Second time very recently, Oct 24/22, I ordered a juice. Similar situation…the ingredients of the juice were separated (like oil & water) because the person couldn’t be bothered to stir it before giving it to me. For almost $10 the least that could be done is to prepare orders properly.

It’s the lack of effort that’s obvious…I won’t be returning. Does the owner read these comments? Some are dated yet still the service is disgusting....
