Absolutely terrible service. We specified that we had a shrimp allergy in our Uber order TWICE.
The restaurant refused to change the whole order even though I specified do not send any shrimp because there is an allergy and and they sent shrimp in the order and then told me that they only wanted to replace one item in my order. I explained to the restaurant numerous times that they cannot give me an order with shrimp because I don't know if any of the other food came in contact with shrimp. The woman insisted the boss said they are too busy and don't have time to replace my order even though it is their fault because I specified CLEARLY when ordering that there is an allergy.... yet they sent the items WITH SHRIMP.... This is absolutely terrible service for a restaurant to tell me that they won't replace my order when they made a mistake because "they are too busy. " THIS IS A LIFE THREATENING SITUATION.
They were extremely rude, the woman who answered the phone was laughing while telling me her boss won't fix the order because he is too busy .
There are 3 OTHER adults who heard this conversation. This was a celebratory dinner for my daughter today for a special ceremony she had.. now it's so late to order elsewhere AND eat at a decent time. I'm absolutely disgusted by this service. The lack of care is absolutely atrocious.
They also sent BURNT meat. Some pieces are burnt and black.
Let's not even discuss how bad the manager was in person when the food was returned. These people...
Read moreMay 2023. I really want to like this take-out chinese place coz it’s in my neighbourhood. But, I have ordered 3x and I feel it’s a rip-off in all of them! Even though it’s now 2023 and I know that food prices have gone up due to inflation this order is way overpriced. It has been like this even before Covid/inflation when I ordered beef with broccoli. So, for a $12.99 dish in May 2023 all you’ll get is a few THIN slices of chicken (please note that the photo here may look like the chix meat is big and thick, but objects always appear bigger in photographs) and LOTS OF SAUCE thickened with cornstarch to camouflage the lesser quantity of meat. The meat is way lesser than a short order in a mall’s fastfood for the same price. It’s really frustrating when they make the sauce too much that the meat is swimming on it. Might as well buy a whole chicken from nearby Farm Boy for the same price! Below is the photo of the chicken for $12.99 (on a small 6 inch saucer plate only) and the sauce it came with. I really hope they read this and do...
Read moreReally bad Chinese food. I was on the fence because of the reviews, don't go here for noodles. It was some gross-nasty ramen noodles that tasted stale in my lo mein. They tasted just like a mr.noodle, sooo really bad. Boyfriend ordered Cantonese Chow Mein and it was bad too. There are better places to get Chinese food in Toronto for the same price, don't waste your $$ here. The vegetables were fresh and good, but when I order lo mein I want noodles, not a box of vegetabes. Very dissapointing. the beef and brocolli was pretty good, expect for all the other random un-called for vegetables, liked the sauce. Check my pics if you're interested in the vegetable to noodle ratios and the stale ramen noodles. Also posted beef and brocolli, mostly vegetables, they really need to cool it on the vegetables for their other menu items. Might be okay place if you're going here for fried rice and veggies or somthing, DO NOT ORDER...
